Chapter 6: A Date On A Dungeon

"Drakar take me out on a date!" Selare demanded.

We are at the barracks training grounds and we just finished sparring.

"What? No way." I crossed my arms facing away.

A spark went out from the seal of my chest as I start to feel an intense pain coming out from it.

"Aaargghh! The pain." As I fell to my knees, holding my chest to try and ease the pain, but it does not help at all.

"He's in pain. So cute~" She giggled while making a grin on her face.

Damn it. I hate it when this happens.

"Fine! I'll go on a date with you!" then the pain was gone in an instant.

"Yipee~" as she wrapped her arms around my arm.

This sucks.

She's been inviting me to go out ever since I didn't woke her up when I went to train with the former Demon Lord Dolan. Ever since the first day of our training, Selare felt jealous because I wasn't spending any time with her. Because when I go back to the tent after training, I'm already too exhausted. I just go straight to bed and sleep.

The training lasted for 2 weeks, and it has been 3 days since then. Dolan ended our training after I've finally done Hell's Purge once. but I've only been able to use it for 10 seconds. After that, I've already been knocked out unconscious.

Flashback

"Keep it up. You're doing great Dorkar." Dolan says from the sidelines.

I can feel power being released through my body. The grass around me is being blown by the wind and the dead trees are starting to unroot from the ground.

"It's Drakar! Get it to your head old man!"

Purple sparks are starting to flicker around my wrists as I tightened the grip on my weapons, and they are starting to glow too. Slowly, a magic circle is starting to build up around my wrists.

I feel like passing out right now. It's as if the skill is trying to drain me. But I won't give in.

Slowly, a purple auric light start to emit from my weapons.

And then, a large amount of wind blasted all around me that blows away everything 3 meters close to me.

"Great Job Dorkar! You finally did it." Dolan looked amazed.

What is this feeling?

My body feels extremely light all of a sudden. And my weapons, it feels as though I'm not even carrying them.

Suddenly, I blacked out. And the next thing I knew, I was back at the barracks tent.

End of flashback

Dolan said that our training was over. Now that I've done the skill once, he said that it's up to me to master it.

Even though it has been 3 days since that happened, amd my body still aches.

"So, where do you want to go Selare?" I said with a listless voice.

I'm realy not up for having a dte right now. I feel like I just want to lie in bed and take a rest.

There's not much of a place for sight seeing here in the Demon Lair. I've been running around exploring before but nothing seems to be called beautiful around here. All you can see are unsymmetrical and bent-over towers. Everything looks creepy and demonic around here.
