Chapter 16: Stroll Around Town

The next day, after the dungeon, blondie suggested that we take dog on an armor armor shop so we could by him a helmet. Ever since Dog got to the Kingdom the guards are all looking at his wolf ears. It really stands out. That is why we need to cover his ears to avoid commotions about it.

I tried excusing my self from the task because I wanted to rest my *ss on the bed but blondie just kept on forcing me so I had no choice but to go with, witch definitely sucks for me. I let out a sigh.

We are now at the blacksmith shop inside the castle. We can't take Dog outside of the castle yet since the people would definitely freak out when they see Dog's wolf ears.

Dog and blondie are currently searching from the tables filled with armors, especially the helmets section. While I on the other hand is just standing at the corner waiting for the arms crossed.

"Here Cerberio. Try this on, I bet this will look good on you." blondie took one from the helmets then gave it to Dog.

Dog took it and tried it on. The helmet fit his head perfectly but something was off.

"It looks great in you Cerberio!" blondie smiled.

"Ugh~" Dog suddenly removes the helmet from his head. "I don't think I can wear this, my ears hurt when I do." and he massages his wolf ears.

I guess buying Dog a helmet to cover his ears was a bad idea after all.

*cling cling*

Suddenly, the door opens hitting the chimes that was hanging from above it. What came in was a guy wearing an armor with fur.

It's the armored guy and he looked like he was looking for something.

"Excuse me, is Miss Scarlet here?" He asked the blacksmith owner who was at the counter.

"Reid? What's up?" as blondie saw the armored guy.

"Miss Scarlet." the armored guy approached her. "Miss Mein told me that me that I would find you here."

I do recall us bumping into Mein while we were on our way to the blacksmith shop.

"So, what did you need me for?"

"The higher ups are calling you to report to them what happened during your first dungeon. They want to know how the hero defeated the boss. They are now waiting for your arrival."

"What? You mean now?" blondie said surprised.

"Yes. We must make haste."

"O-okay. Drakar. You take care of finding a way to cover Cerberio's ears while I'm gone ok?"

"I-" I was about to object the offer but before I did they were already out of the shop.

What am I supposed gonna do? I sighed. I know!

"Hey Dog come with me."

"Huh? ah okay!" He then puts the helmet he was trying to look at back from the table.

We went out of the that and I took him to my room.

"Now where is it. I knew it was around here somewhere." I was searching from the drawers and cabinets inside my room.

"There it is. here, try these on." I tossed Dog a black hooded jacket and he caught it.

I knew about the hoodie when I was searching after the first time I tried to take a bath in the castle.

Dog took off his worn out clothes that we got from the dead wolfman that was guarding him from the dungeon. His body was filled with cuts and bruises he got from the dungeon. And then wear the black hoodie that I gave him.
