Chapter 13: Marde Dungeon

3rd person PoV

Drakar, the protagonist of the story, was summoned in a different world by the Holy Gtimoire. But he was summoned by Selare, a Demon girl who stole and used the Holy Grimoire. Legends say that Drakar was the hero destined to save the world but how can he save it if there is a seal engraved on his chest that brings him an intense amount of pain whenever he disobey his master. Now the hero, Drakar, is forced to fight for the Demons.Ever since Drakar came to this world he has been training hard learning the basics in combat and applying it in real situations. He also learned that the world somewhat resembles like some typical fantasy game he used to play back in his real world. Drakar have now also fought in a raids whether it be a village or a Kingdom.Now the Demons have successfully conquered the Kingdom of Serdin. At the end of the fight, Scarlet, which is the other hero who fights for the Humans, has mistaken Drakar to be a resident of the Kingdom who got caught up in the fight. She then took him to custody and evacuated back in to the Kingdom of Eshla.Selare on the other hand, was reunited with her childhood friend Astrid who just came back from travelling. Now they set out on a quest to take back Drakar from the Kingdom but first they will have to know which Kingdom he was taken into.

Drakar PoV

It has been a week. I have been living here in the castle in the Kingdom of Eshla. During that course, I spent my days living normally inside the castle. Everyday I would go and explore just to memorize the exterior of the castle. I do this for reference.But ever since I got here I haven't been training much. It's not that I don't want to but I just can't. I am trying to pretend like I'm one of the people from this world. I can't let them know that I actually work for the Demons.

"Miss Scarlet." The armored guy called to blondie at my side.Blondie and I were just done eating lunch together and was heading back to our respective rooms.

"Oh Reid. What's up?" She answered.

"Be ready tomorrow for your first dungeon."

"Yeah yeah I know. You don't have to worry about me. After all it's just a low leveled dungeon right? I've killed a lot of demons, intercepting their raids and have increased my level. This should be a piece of cake." Blondie say with a proud face.

A dungeon? And a low leveled one too. I remember Selare taking me out on a date in a low leveled dungeon before. That dungeon had beautiful sceneries and cute little monsters.

"It may be true that your level indicates that you have grown stronger. But a dungeon is a different matter. There are a lot of things that can happen in a dungeon that can kill you even though your level is high despite being a low level dungeon. The dungeon level only indicates the highest level of a monster you could possibly find inside the dungeon but it doesn't tell you about the other possible dangers you may encounter. For instance, booby traps, mimics, and swarming of monsters. These are some of the unpredictable possible things that can happen inside a dungeon. So please be careful." The armored guy explains.

"Whoah. That's really a lot." Blondie looking less confident.

I have known about dungeons from Selare. But hearing about it from him gives a completely new perspective. So this is how the humans see dungeons.

"You guys are going on a dungeon?" I said butting in their conversation.

"Yes Sir Drakar. Miss Scarlet has already learned the basics of combat by training. But with training alone, her knowledge about the basics is still far too narrow. She must also learn how to apply it in real fighting situations. Because in this way she will also develop the mind needed to fight properly. Entering a low leveled dungeon will help give her train not just her body but also her mind."
