Chapter 19: Cerberus

"Ugh!" Reid and Cerberio owed in unison.

"Cerberio where are you?" Reid as he searched the area with his hands.

There was no light and everything was dark. He can't see a thing.

The huge furry hand that grabbed both of them grabbed them all over the fall. When the monster that grabbed them finally fell onto the ground, the impact was so strong that it made the monster to let go from grabbing them. So they bounced off from the hand to the ground.

Cerberio sniffed around. His nose serves as his eyes.

Cerberio smelled something familiar. He approached it and tapped it with his forefinger. Nothing happened. He knew that the familiar scent was the same with the glowing crystals. This time he tried to smack the crystal hard with his palm.

"Cerberio?" Reid notices a little light emitting from a crystal. He looked to that direction and found that Cerberio was there.

"These are the same glowing crystals from earlier. Seems like they lit up when you shake them." Cerberio explained.

"I see, the crystals glow at a certain amount of strong vibration." Reid interprets.

Cerberio replied by nodding.

"We must be carfeul, that THING that grabbed us earlier is surely to be lurking around here somewhere." Reid.

"You are right. I smell something over there." Cerberio pointed his index finger behind Reid. "Actually, I can hear it breathing." he added.

"I can hear it too." Reid stud firm and extremely nervous. He know that the monster that grabbed them earlier is standing right behind him.

"Grab my hand and walk slowly." Cerberio whispered cautiously to Reid.

Reid began walking slowly and reached for Cerberio's hand. After that, Cerberio pulled Reid and they walked away from the growing crystal's light. Now they are back in the darkness.

"Don't let go of my hand. I'll guide us out of here. I can tell where the exit is by my nose." Cerberio whispered.

Reid swallowed in response.

Cerberbio is used to roaming around dark places given that he has a nose of a wolf, plus he grew up in a dungeon cave. Reid put his trust on Cerberio and followed him wherever he pulled him.

Cautiously.. carefully... every they make are made sure to not make any sound.

But something was suddenly caught up on Cerberio's nose. It made him breathe in a lot of air with a face about to sneeze. Reid wouldn't be able to stop him since he can't even see that he was about to sneeze. But Cerberio managed to place his index finger to close his nostrils before he blows a sneeze.

*Phew* Cerberio sighed on his head

"ACHOO!!" Reid sneezed loud and it echoed loud.

"Grggrglgrlrrr" A very terrifying growling sound.

There was a sudden quick earthquake, vibrations enough to lit up the glowing crystals. Everything was dark before but now they can see.

"RRAAAWWWRR!!" The huge monster roared loud.

It was deafening that Cerberio and Reid are forced to cover their ears. The two of them got to see the huge monster for the first time. They knew for sure that the creature would be terrifying. It was a blue furred, three-headed dog with spiked collars on all their necks and has braces on its limbs. It was also thrice a person's size. It was a Cerberus like from the Greek mythological creatures.
