It took almost quarter of the day to explain things to Dog. At first I was just trying to explain why he shouldn't show his private parts around girls, but our conversation went on and on and I eventually ended up explaining a bunch of normal stuff about the outside world. The basics on how the world works. The Do's and Dont's. It was like updating his mind to fit in with the outside world.

We got hungry and decided to go out of the castle and stroll around town to see if we can find some good stalls to eat from. Even though the maid delivered us lunch given by the castle, it wasn't enough to fill our bellies.

After all, we did not eat for two days straight while we were inside Marde Dungeon.

"Wow! There's a lot of stalls in here." Dog was amazed to see a lot of stalls lined up at both sides of the streets selling different kinds of food.

The crowd was mild which is perfect. I told Dog that he shouldn't remove his hood and reveal his ears to people, because if he did it may cause some disturbance to the town. I was told that half-human-half-animals are a rare case in this world.

Dog went to one of the stalls drowling on the 0range balls on a stick stacked together.

"You want some?" I asked.

"Yes! I wanna try some." Dog smiling like a kid.

"It's called kwek-kwek."

"That will be 10 coppers per stick." The vendor said.

This isn't the first time I tried using money to buy around town. I had blondie to teach me about how the currency in this world works without raising any suspicion.

I AM acting like I am originally from this world. So what I did was ask her if their currency in the Kingdom of Eshla is different from the Kingdom of Serdin, which is the place I was pretending to be from, to get her to explain how their currency works.

She told me that 100 copper coins is equal 1 silver coin, and 10 silver coins is equal to 1 gold coin.

Converting it to my old world's country's currency it will be like:

1 copper coin = 1 peso
1 silver coin = 100 pesos
1 gold coin = 1000 pesos.

It's probably the same thing from my old world but rather than hundreds and thousands they call it silver coins and gold coins respectively.

"I'll take 2 sticks please." As I handed the vendor 20 copper coins from my pocket.

I got the money from an allowance provided by the castle since I am the hero's broke friend. I was supposed to use the allowance as a fund to start make a living. But what the heck, I'm too lazy to work.

Besides, my stay in this Kingdom is only temporary.

I took two sticks of kwek-kwek then gave the other one to Dog.

"It's tasty." As he munched one of the kwek-kweks from its stick.

Meanwhile, the maid Mein is currently doing her tasks at the castle.

Mein is holding a tray of food and walking through the halls. She was ordered to deliver a meal for the counsels. She usually does this as part of her daily tasks as the castle maid.

"W-what~>?"Suddenly, her head is starting to hurt.

Everything around her is starting to spin and her vision is slowly fading into blur.
