Chapter 10: Inside the Castle of Eshla

Drakar PoV

I woke up and the first thing that I see is a ceiling with a decent looking light. This is unfamiliar. I can feel that I am lying on a very soft foam behind my back.

I tried to look around me and I find my self in a fancy looking room. The bed was a king size and there are drawers, carpet, and curtains. Just where heck am I?

I tried to remember how I got here in a fancy room like this.

That's right! I remember now. I was fighting at the castle ruins and there was a guards that was about to kill me.

Did I die?

Then that means... This fancy looking room must be heaven. Maybe outside the door there's an angel waiting to escort me onto to the stairs going to the clouds.

*click click*

Suddenly, I heard the door click open. By surprise I quickly covered my self in blanket and tried to pretend that I'm still sleeping.

I hear the door open. And then footsteps, I can tell that someone is walking towards me. But something's a bit weird, I can hear scraping of metals as it walked.

Is this the angel? Sh*t I still have a lot of dreams I that I want to do. I'm not ready to go in the after life.

"PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME YET!" I sat on my bed and pleaded at the angel.

"AAHH!" A guy in an armor was surprised to see me. He was raising his hands and dropped the tray of food he was holding.

"Now look what you did! And what do you mean don't take me?" He yelled at me.

I think I remember this guy. Hmmm... Oh yeah, he was the guard that was with the blonde girl after wr got out of the lost forest. What was his name again? F*ck it I don't care.

"Did I say don't take me? Weird, perhaps I was sleep talking." I reasoned trying to act cool. It would have been so embarrassing if I told him that I taught the he was an angel that was about to take me.

"*Ehem* pardon my rudeness. I am sorry I yelled at you. My name is Reid and I am a knight from the Kingdom of Eshla. You were brought here by the request of the hero Miss Scarlet. I am sorry to have dropped your breakfast, we shall bring you another one." And then the armored guy left the room leaving his mess on the floor.

Wait, did he just say hero Miss Scarlet? Hero? But Selare told me that I was the hero sent here from a different world. Something fishy is going on here.

I heard the door click open again. It opened and what went in was a girl dressed in maid outfit.

"Excuse me, I'm here to clean up the mess that brother Reid has made."

It's a maid.

IT'S A MAID!!!

So what? No reason to get all worked up about it. I simply nodded at her as a response then she started cleaning up the mess from the carpet.

Well this is awkward. None of us are talking and she's just focused on cleaning the floor.

Suddenly, the door click open again and what went in was a blonde girl in a black shirt, black short skirt, white knee socks, and black shoes. It's the same blonde girl from the lost forest.

"Drakar." She called to me. I just looked at her as a response.

"How are you feeling? I found you lying half-dead at the castle so I carried you here to evacuate in the Kingdom of Eshla."

"I'm fine." I don't know if I should thank her, if she knows that I was serving the Demons she would have held me hostage right now or killed me while I was knocked unconscious at the castle.
