Drakar PoV
3 days has passed after the last raid. Me and Selare are now fully recovered from our wounds, so as the few beast survivors.
We heard about what happened to Demon Lord Korsal. The Demon King Afreceul had his tongue removed. They said that it would take time for him to heal.
Although the Necolytes say that his tongue and wounds was already been healed by their magic. But what would take more time to heal was his mentality. That would take more time to heal before he is able to go back in battle again. Poor Korsal.
"Try and check your status first Drakar." Selare says while she draws a circle in the air in front of her using her index finger. Trying to check her status.
"Oh yeah, right." I was about to go out of the tent to go train at the training grounds, but turned back in to check my status.
Light emitted from my index finger as I drew a circle in the air in front of me. Then from the circle that I made, revealed my status.

So far so good, I can see that there's improvement in my stats. Especially my AGI which increased more than double.
But I noticed that I still haven't learned any skills.
"So? How was your status Drakar?"
"I turned level 6." I said proud of my self.
"I see. That's good. But still, you've got a long way to go."
"How about you? How was your status."
"Well... I'm still at level 20." Selare looking slightly disappointed.
"You didn't level up? But you killed more of the villagers than I am."
"As the level goes higher, the more experience you'll have to gain in order to level up. In other words, despite killing so many, that would not still be enough to level me up because my level is already at 20. But in your case, you're level is still a bit low so a few kills can make you level up easily."
And here I thought that leveling up was so easy. I guess it will get harder and harder as I progress. This sucks. I was planning on reaching the level of that bastard Afrecuel.
For the Demon King to have reached level 100. Just Imagine how many people he must have killed. It sent shivers down my spine.
I've got a long way to go.
"But you don't have to grind your level all the way through by just killing as much as you can. You see, you're going to need to choose who you kill too. For instance, the villagers we killed in the raid also have a status of their own. But they we're just farmers and civilians, there's only a slight chance that some of them got a chance to kill any demon, so they're levels must've ranged between 1 or 2 only. If you kill low leveled people you will only gain low EXP. But if you were to kill higher leveled people, you will receive a whole lot of more EXP."
