The invasion on Serdin Kingdom's northwest gate continues. The Demons have already managed to seize 2 of the cities from the kingdom and is now proceeding on invading the castle.
This will be the final battle, If we manage to defeat the Kingdom's castle we can already call it a victory. We don't care whether the king lives or not. It's not a matter of winning over a throne, but a matter of conquering a new territory.
After we rested we finally marched towards the castle.
It's a very big castle, imagine Elsa's castle from frozen but a bit bigger and not so icy. There are rock walls that surround it and guards that are stationed at the gates. At the front of the castle is a plaza.
We arrived at the plaza, the plan is to knock on the door after all, infiltrate that castle from the front. But when we where about to break the gates, a number of guards with horse mounts arrived from the sides of the gates. There are a lot of them and they did not look like they just come from inside the castle.
Perhaps their the reinforcements coming from the southeast plaza. The news must have reached reached there by now.
"Filthy Demons! How dare you step on Serdin Kingdom's grounds! All of you shall pay! Ready men... Charge!!" A guy with an armor commands. He is also equipped with a shield and a sword. He is also riding a horse.
That guy must be a knight. By what Selare told me, knights are supposed to be like the Lords in us Demons. They are the ones responsible for commanding the troops for battle. I could tell that this guy must have killed a lot of Demons before to be promoted to such a position, just like the our Lords.
"Today we shall destroy their puny castle and conquer this kingdom! Charge!" Mosough commands from the back.
Humans always position their commanders at the front lines while the Demons position their Lords at the back.
The Demon creatures and the Human guards will clash at the center of the plaza. A lot of screams, clashing and bashing of metals, and screeching of Demons and humans are heard while they are fighting.
The Knight swings his sword majestically through the wind as he slices through every Demon creature that comes in his way. He is riding a horse and is heading towards Demon Lord Mosough.
Demon Lord Mosough barbarically smashes down his glaive to every human that comes across his path. He is charging straight towards the Knight.
Mosough strikes down his glaive but gets blocked by the Knight's shield. A huge blow of the wind exploded from between the two commanders. They held their positions trying to pushing each other away to see which of them have much greater strength.
"I Helrick shall bring you to death and bring justice to my family's death. Hya!"
The knight rolled down from his horse onto the ground making Mosough strike his glaive to smash the horse. And then Helrick did a spin and sliced Mosough from the side of his mammoth body. Mosough is a magnataur which is a half human and half mammoth. After the cut Herrick backed away then did a stance holding his sword up front.
"Why you bastard! You're going to pay for that."
Mosough lift his heavy glaive from the ground and swings it to hit Helrick. The length of his glaive is enough to reach Helrick from where he is standing. He swung it so fast that Helrick were not able to dodge, It sent him flying away and made him disarm his shield. He could've been sliced in half if it weren't for his armor. Blood splurted from his mouth after hitting the ground.
"Hahaha! Puny man, and here you are talking about revenge. Haha!"
