Reid finally delivered the cross necklace which is the key to the deceased queens crown. He is now accompanied by Selare and they are currently at the Citadel.

Reid submitted the necklace to the master and the master asked him to follow him.

The master lead Reid to a circular stairs. From there, they walked all the way to the top of the Citadel. It was a long climb of the stairs since the structure of the Citadel is a tower.

The master appeared to be tired after they reached the top. However, Reid acted as if climbing that high of a stairs is nothing. As expected from a Noble Knight who trains for battle. Reid has a lot of stamina.

At the top part of the stairs, there was a door. From there, both of them entered.

To Reid's surprise, the room was empty. There was nothing. Just an empty room, dusty floors, and webs on the edges of the walls.

"Master, there's nothing here." as Reid explored his eyes.

"Patience young Knight."

The master walked forward to the center of the room.

"Stand back young Knight."

Reid  followed what the master instructed. Reid observed from the back what the master did next.

The master placed his hand in his pocket and from there he took a small crooked stick. It appears to be a wand. The master walked towards the center of the room. The edge of the wand started to glow and he used it to draw a circle onto the floor. Now there is a glowing circle inscribed on the floor. After that, symbolic figures start to draw by itself at the inner part of the circle. Strong gusts of wind filled the room from the magic circle. You could tell the master uses a lot of mana in order to cast this. When the magic circle was finally complete, The figures and the circle rotates. It looks like a lock being unlocked. Now suddenly, a chest starts to appear from the magic circle.

Reid was in awe from watching the master summon the chest. Reid has seen plenty of magic before but most of it was used to harm people. Like fire balls and lighting bolts. But this was new, it was magic being used for summoning. This is the first time he has seen it.

The chest didn't look like any typical chest that could be seen in dungeons. It looked majestic with its golden linings and magnificent design. It was Royal.

Next, the master took the necklace from his pocket and held it from the head of the pendant cross. The cross pendant is the only thing that can break the seal on the lock of the chest. Like a key, he used the cross pendant to the lock of the chest.

The chest opens and what was inside was a beautiful crown.

"Is that..."

"Yes. The deceased queens crown."

It was a golden crown with a very majestic design. For Reid, he imagined that any woman who would wear this would look beautiful.

"Master, I have a question. Why is the deceased queen's crown sealed in such a way?"

The master shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know. It was the King's orders to hide the crown like this. Maybe the King loved the queen so much that when she died the King wanted to forget about her that he never wanted to see any of the queen's belongings ever again to avoid hurting himself. Because sometimes, things serve as remembrances for the people who passed away."

Reid, had trouble understanding what the master just said. But he understood that the King wanted to avoid hurting himself.

"I just wonder what would have the King change his mind."
