It was hours before they came back in and tortured me again.

They told me the glass had some anti-communication properties which meant I couldn't talk to Aiden. I nearly dropped dead.

I had to steel myself. The only way out of here was literally out through the glass. And the only way I was going to do that was to find something to break it.

But I'd been searching for hours for anything. Anything at all. A pin, a sharp object just something to break the glass.

But I couldn't find anything. I was so hopeless, so useless, so nothing. I wanted to curl into a bawl and never wake up.

"Sang."

"Leave me alone!" I screamed for the thousandth time.

"That is absolutely no way to talk to your grandfather. Do not disrespect me like that. I am your mate."

"No you're not! Aiden is my mate! You're not my anything! You're not even my grandfather! The grandfather I knew was nice and caring and did not by any means throw things at me!

You're a monster and I hope the darkness reaches your soul because you're incurable!" I bellowed my voice cracking.

I coughed to regain it. He looked like he was about to skin me alive. I shrunk back a tad, but straightened my spine to prove to myself - and him - that I wasn't afraid.

"Open the hatch!"

"But sir she -"

"I SAID OPEN IT!"

A guard climbed on top of the glass box and undid the latch on the outside. It swung open with a clunk and he reached in to pull me out.

I decided to try and talk to Aiden as fast as I could while I had the opportunity. I didn't know how well this was going to go.

"Aiden! Aiden listen! Please please help me Aiden."  I had to stop myself from sobbing.

I felt a sting across my face from the slap Gramps gave me. I shouldn't even call him that anymore. He's not even my grandfather. I want no relation to this man what so ever.

He grabbed my throat, tightening his grip until I saw stars. He released me, and I gasped for air, clutching at my neck and feeling small bruises already forming from his fingers.

I whimpered.

"That's right. I am in control. You are on a leash now. You belong to me."

"I will never be controlled. And certainly not by you. You're are a horrible person."

I knew I had to pass the time, anything for Aiden to try and find me. I hope the could feel our fragile bond I could barely sense. I don't know how long I spend in the box, but my entire being ached for him.

I looked up and saw his chest heaving. His eyes began to glow a terrifying red, and his claws and teeth elongated.

"Oh my god..." I whispered.

He roared, and everything went in slow motion.

I saw his hand swipe through the air, his nails as sharp as jagged rocks, and before I could move he had clawed at my neck and shoulder.

The momentum and pain blinded me. I screamed.

I laid on my side on the floor, in agony. Jolting from the pain I was experiencing. I felt warm, sticky blood pool around my head, and smelt the distinct salty, metallic scent in the air.

I didn't even have the strength to reach out to my mate. I wasn't aware of anything that was happening anymore and before I knew it everything faded.

Poor Sang :(
