I heard Lucy's car pull up beside Aiden's house just before 4pm. I sighed, but prepared myself for a whole lotta explaining. I made sure Gramps had food and was in his bedroom before I stepped out of the house.

I bear hugged Lucy when I found her standing in the living room of Aiden's house. She giggled, and turned around to she could give me a proper hug. She pulled back and gave me a heated gaze that made me cringe.

"Start talking," she commanded. I took a deep breath, and let it out slowly. Pulling her over to the couch and making her sit down, I started explaining everything. From the day I saw Aiden walk up the path at school and asking her about the images, to the voice talking in my head, to me missing days of school because I was hanging out with him and how he wasn't human. I began telling her about the most important thing, but she interrupted me.

"So, you're telling me that it's been nearly a week and you've had a voice in you're head," she began, holding up a finger to count off the list of problems, "2 missed days of school, and you're dating a fucking werewolf." Her words made me cringe, but before I could drop my head she muttered 'badass'. So I decided to continue.

"I'd known Aiden was a wolf the day after our run, because he met me at the square and the voice came back. I kind of had a panic attack which is what made him tell me to calm me down," I explained. She made eye contact with Aiden.

"You know, I think I should give you lessons on how to not make a chick think you're a creep," she said with a smirk. He widened his eyes, and chuckled.

"Charming she is," he muttered. I rolled my eyes.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me," she whispered, meeting my eyes again.

"I wanted to, don't get me wrong Lucy. So much! I just didn't know how and when. It's not something you can just bring up randomly in a conversation."

"Yeah, I suppose you're right."

"Sorry, but that's not the most important thing," I continued and cringed when her eyes widened. "You mean there's more stuff besides him not being human?"

"I have to move overseas," I blurted out, but added, "and I want you to come with me," to hopefully tone it down a notch. Her face blanched and she dropped her head in her hands, massaging her temples for a bit.

"Oh Sang, Sang, Sang," she muttered. "What in the world have you gotten yourself into."

"It's not my choice," I began. "It's his," I said as I pointed at Aiden. His eyes widened as he caught Lucy's intimidating stare.

"Why?" she demanded.

"I'm a Kanis-Lupis breed of werewolf, meaning that we're kinda like... royalty. And so my parents need to make sure Sang and I are both safe, seeing as though I'm supposed to take over ruling from him when he passes," he explains. Her head whips around to face me.

"Where can I get myself one of these Kanees Lipis werewolves," she said. I chuckled.
"Kanis-Lupis," I corrected her. "And I don't know, maybe if you come with me?" I asked hopefully. She stared at me for several moments, before asking if I was actually serious.

I had no idea where this conversation was going to go. She could say yes and I'd be excited, or no and I'd be crushed.
"I'd have to leave Forks," she started, "leave my parents, my family, my friends, the school, my house, my childhood." I sadly nodded in response.

"Before you tell me your answer, I wanted to ask you because in the first place I never wanted to move. I didn't want to leave Gramps, as grumpy and unfriendly as he is. I didn't want to leave the school, but most importantly, I didn't want to leave you. You are the best thing that ever happened to me Lucy Grinwald," I said, pronouncing her full name for emphasis, "and I want you to always remember that. I wanted you to come because I wanted someone who I knew by my side. Someone who knows me like the back of their hand and can help me through it. I'm still as lost as you are. I want a friend that I can learn with. Start my new life with. There's so much we never even knew about. There are werewolves in this world, and who knows what other paranormal creatures. I want you to be there with me when I learn about them. I want to be able to have gossip sessions with you about which wolves are hot and which ones need a makeover. I want my best friend by my side." I didn't realise that I was crying until I felt a heavy tear droplet drip onto my hand. I wiped away my tears, but stopped when I realise she was crying too. I scooted closer to her.
