Daddy insisted that I shouldn't go to work today. He even woke me up at 6AM for Christmas shopping!

Kahapon lang ay umuwi kami ni Angelo dito sa villa dahil nga Christmas.

"Little girl you have to wake up! It's Christmas! We'll have a Christmas shopping today, makisabay tayo sa rush!" Dad's voice echoed in my room.

"Mommy, gising na po mommy!" Niyuyugyog ko ni Angelo at tumatalon sa kama ko.

"Daddy, hindi pa bukas ang mga mall or supermarket. I want more sleep." I murmured.

"Hahaha! Okay, but you'll miss out the fun! Let's go, Elo." Yaya niya kay Angelo.

"Alis na po kami mommy!" Masayang paalam ni Angelo. I went back to sleep.

I woke up to the music blasting the whole villa.. and what made me get out of my bed are the decorations inside my room once I opened my eyes!

May garland pang gold and red, may Christmas lights rin! Tumingin ako sa orasan at tanghali na pala.

Ni hindi pa nga pala ako nakakabili ng regalo para kay dad, Angelo, at Manong Gil, pati na rin ang mga aso!

Today, I'll really feel the Christmas rush, dahil magra-rush buying ako ng regalo. I actually didn't have any plans on buying gifts pero sige bibili na rin ako.

I feel like my ankle is well now. Ginalaw-galaw ko ito at mukhang mas makakalakad na ako ng maayos.

I went to the shower then fixed myself. I wore the comfiest clothes I have, and that means wearing my loafers shoes, white capri pants and a maroon polo shirt.

I grabbed my purse and phone, then I'm ready to go.

Nagmamadali akong bumaba at nakita kong nagluluto si dad. It smells like pasta. Angelo's outside playing with the dogs. "Daddy, I'll be out for a while."

"Now, you won't miss the fun of Christmas rush. Take care!" Napatingin rin ako sa paligid at may mga Christmas decorations na! The Christmas tree is finely set up with ribbons, balls, candy canes, and mini teddy bears as decorations. May lights rin, pero hindi pa pinapa-ilaw.

"Angelo, magpapalit ka ng shirt pag pawis na! Aalis ako sandali ha.." Paalam ko.

"Opo! Ingat mommy!" Tawa ng tawa si Angelo dahil dinidilaan siya ni Kyrie sa mukha.

I started the engine and went my way outside the subdivision to the nearest mall.

I went inside a wine store and searched for wines.. Dad likes wines with a hint of dark fruits and spice, and he prefers it full-bodied.
I luckily found a Pinot Noir in a shelf.
It's a Domaine de Courcel Pommard Premiere Cru le Grand Clos des Epenots 2001.

I've searched it online beforehand para hindi na ako mag-isip kung ano pa ang bibilhin kong regalo para kay daddy.
He likes, no, he loves wine and he even has a mini wine cellar in our basement. He lets other wines age dahil doon raw sumasarap at mas lumalabas ang lasa pag mas matanda ang wine.

I finally bought it and had it placed in a special wine box at pinalagyan ko rin ng gold ribbon.

Si Manong Gil naman ay binilhan ko ng isang August Steiner black watch para magamit niya. This watch literally goes with everything you wear so I think it's a good gift for him.
