Christmas Party prep

Isang araw bago ang Christmas Party, and today is that day. Nagkaroon ng bunutan para sa monito-monita.

Ako ang pinaunang bumunot sa isang fishbowl. And guess who I got? Sa dinami-rami ng pwede, si Enzo pa. Destiny is soooo crazy. Pinaglalaruan ba ako ng tadhana?

This is the second time that they invited me to the company's party. Last year, nabunot ko ang may pangalang Emma, and the gift I gave her was a lipstick set from MAC. Nasabi rin sa akin ng secretary ko na tuwang-tuwa siyang iyon ang natanggap niyang regalo. The thing is, hindi naman ako pumunta ng party last year, which was held in our hotel and resort in Panglao.

This year, I was informed that it will be held in Boracay. I didn't even know kung bakit nga ba ako napabili ng dress at sinunod ang motif! It was like I'm out of my mind when I bought my dress last night.

And speaking of last night..

We even had a few drinks and a few more conversations, and most were random.

I felt a bit tipsy, but he wasn't. Good thing naalala ko pa rin ang mga kagagahan ko.

I was in the bathroom, and something in my memory came up. Napatingin ako sa salamin at naisip iyon.

"Hi, Enzo! Hehe gwapo mo pala." Nakaupo ako sa sofa habang siya naman umiinom. I stared dreamily at him like he was some kind of a romantic movie lead actor.

"Po?" Yan.. yan lang sinagot niya? Hah, jerk.

"You're handsome." I repeat! "Alam mo buti na lang, sinunod mo akong tanggalin yung salamin mo. You even improved your outfit hehe. Good. Good boy." I gave him a thumbs up and even pat his head, down to his shoulders, to his muscular arms. I smiled.

"You really have to sleep. You're tipsy. Let's get you to the bed, miss.." He smells really good! Bakit ba laging kalmado ang lalaking to, what is his dirty little secret? Hehe..

He carried me like I was some kind of a baby. "Baby mo ako? Who's tipsy? I'm not lasing noh!" I chuckled. Narinig kong tumawa rin siya pero nakapikit na ang mata ko. May sinabi siya, pero hindi ko naman narinig. Kainis, antok na ako. Naramdaman na lang ng likod ko ang lambot ng kama.

"Had to go, Miss Marie. Rest well, and thank you for tonight!" Okay, good night baby.

May mukha pa ba akong ihaharap sa Marketing Department Head na yon?! Shit, shit! Sobrang nakakahiya talaga! Wag na lang akong pumasok ngayon.. tutal, ihahatid ko naman si Angelo sa villa kay daddy, tapos magiimpake na rin ako. Overnight ang Christmas Party sa Boracay eh.

I called Jeena and said that I won't be going to the office today. Sinabi na rin naman niya sa akin na sakto rin at wala naman akong ibang schedule para sa araw na ito.

Why did I suddenly showed interest in attending that party? I don't like celebrating Christmas, right? Si daddy lang ang may gusto.. and maybe, Angelo too.
I just took a shower and proceed to making our breakfast.

Nagluluto ako ng scrambled egg at narinig ko na lang ang ingay ng tv. I peeked, Angelo is sitting on the sofa watching Wonder Pets. He still looks sleepy but he's smiling.

Kagabing nasa department store, gusto ko pa sanang pagalitan itong si Angelo eh. Nakakahiya naman kasi ang ginawa niyang biglang paglapit kay Enzo! He called him his daddy pa! Doon pa lang, hiyang-hiya na ako, sa nangyari pa kaya kagabi? Holy cow!

"Maganda umaga, mommy!" Bati ni Angelo.

"Good morning." I replied.

Matapos ang pagluluto ko, naghain na ako sa mesa. Pinangunahan pa ako ni Angelo na lagyan ng mga kutsara at tinidor.
