The Starbucks Cashier {Laurmy}

Lauren's POV;
"Lauren! If you want to get Starbucks on the way to school we gotta leave now!" I hear Amy scream from downstairs. I quickly grab my bag, put my shoes on and run downstairs. I see Amy on her phone and I was about to tell her lets go when Christina comes in and Amy tells me to say bye to her.

"Bye Chris! I finish at 2:30 today. Do I have to walk or can someone fetch me?" I ask, praying that I don't have to walk as it was supposed to rain this afternoon.

"Hmm, Lisa can fetch you if she's free, I'll text you later about it. Bye! Have fun!" Chris says happily as she goes into another room.

"Okay let's go!" Amy says as she walks to her car, I follow her and we start the drive to Starbucks.

"Laur. What are you gonna get because I'm really stuck here." Amy asks me as we get to the cashier. I notice the boy working there and WOW!!! Hello good lookin, I say to myself with a smirk on my face. Amy must have noticed I wasn't paying any attention to her because she slapped my arm playfully.

"Hello? Earth to Lauren?" Amy asks me waving her hand infront of my face. I grab her hand and put it down.

"Uhm, I'll have a caramel frappe and Amy Uhm maybe the freezichino?" I ask her. Amy just nods and pays the cashier for our drinks.

"What's your girls names?" The hot boy at the cashier asks. He has brown hair with blue eyes and omg he's perfect!

"Oh, Uhm, I-I'm Lauren." I say to the guy, cursing at myself for stuttering in my head.

"I'm Amy!" Amy says happily like the happy person she is.

"Great! Thanks." He says while winking at us. AH! That wink could send a million girls into butterflies.

We wait patiently for our drinks until I hear the guy screaming our names for the drinks. I tap Amy who's on her phone, obviously and get our drinks. I grab my drink and notice that where my name is supposed to be, it's someone's number. Wait what? I notice my name is on the other side and realise maybe someone put it there by mistake. On the top of the lid it read a message. 'Lauren, I put my number on this cup so you can text me. I really hope you do because I would love to see your beautiful face again!' I instantly blushed and Amy saw it.

"Ohhhh! Why you blushing girl!" Amy says looking at me. We're now in the car on the way to school.

"Oh no reason." I say shrugging it off. Amy raises her eyebrow at me. I ignore her and take out my phone to text this boy. I put him in my phone as 'Starbucks cashier' as I have no clue what his name is haha. I decide to be simple and text him with a 'hey it's Lauren'. I didn't get a reply back so I guess he's working, I put my phone in my bag and look at the window for the rest of the ride to school.

As soon as Amy and I depart into our different schools, I run up to my friends and scream like a mad person infront of them. They all look at me confused so I showed them my Starbucks cup and soon enough they were doing the same thing.

"Lauren!!!! Ahhh!!! He so likes you!" My friend, Katie says. I hope he does. I just smile at her as we hear the bell ring and we have to get to class.

"Okay so, today we're learning how to factorise a trinomial. Any questions?" I hear our maths teacher say. Of course I was the lucky person that had math as their first lesson on a Friday. A Friday of all days! Not being in the mood for math, I look over at all my friends and see they're all busy focusing on what the teacher is saying. Ugh, I'll go on my phone then. I take my phone out and put it under my desk. I receive the texts from earlier and respond to all of them.

OH MY GOSH!!! Did he really text me that?! AH!

I put my phone away as I see the math teacher coming around to check our answers. Oh crap. I quickly ask Sarah if I can copy her answers and she says yes and hands me her paper. I copy down the answers quickly and as soon as our math teacher walks past, I'm done. I high five myself in my head and smile at myself.
