Lauren's POV;
"LAUREN CHRISTINE CIMORELLI! Where the heck are you?! You better come home right now!" I looked down at my phone which made a ding sound. It was a text from Christina. I sigh

"Sorry Jake, gotta run. Chris wants me home and I didn't tell her I was coming here after school." I say to Jake.

"No worries Laur, hope you're not in too much trouble, you can blame me hey. Want to do this again tomorrow?" Jake says sweetly.

"As much as I'd love too, I'm pretty sure I'll be grounded and locked in the basement till I'm 30 now. You know I can't blame you either, that'll be just as bad!" I say sadly.

"Yea, you're right. Well can I get a goodbye kiss?" Jake asks.

"Don't have too ask me twice!" I say happily, forgetting Christina was going to be pissed as heck at me.

I kiss him on the lips for what seems like an eternity but in reality it was like 10 seconds. We pull away gasping for air and we hug each other goodbye.

"Goodbye babe" Jake says.

"Bye J" I say back, winking at him.

I get into my car and fix up my hair. Knowing that I'm going to get screamed at by Chris, I hurry up. Oh Crap! I totally forgot to text her back. I send a quick reply.

"Sorry about that Chris, on my way!" I say. She responds almost immediately.

"You better freaking be! Girl, you better have a good explanation! I was so worried!" She types back.

On the car ride home, I debate whether I should tell her about Jake and I. I decide not too, I know how our family feels about young people dating, considering I'm nearly 16 and I consider myself as an adult, the rest of my family don't. They'll probably like disown me or something.

When I get into the house, I figure everything would be calm and quiet as it was like 10pm but heck was I wrong.

"LAUREN!!! Where were you!" Christina and Lisa scream. Amy and Katherine look worried as heck and Dani had tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry guys, I lost track of time!" I say, not daring to look Christina in the eye.

"With who?! Doing what?!?" Lisa interrogates me.

"Uhm, I-I was at my friend's house." I say. Nice lie Laur, good job! I say to myself sarcastically.

"Which friend?" Amy asks me, a lot less worried now.

"Michaela, you wouldn't know her. She's new at school." I say, looking at the ground.

"Hm okay, Lauren we were so freaking worried about you!! Make sure to text us next time and promise to never be late again?!" Lisa says.

"I promise! I'm sorry." I say and Lisa gives me a smile. They all go off to sleep or whatever while Christina glares at me.

"I know when you're lying Lauren Christine!" Oh Crap, she only ever uses my full name when she's pissed at me.

"You better tell me what the heck is going on! Right now!!" Christina looks angry.

"Like I said Chrissy. I was at my friend Michaela's house. I'm sorry, I didn't realise the time." I say nervously. Christina can read me like an open book so I hope, I pray that she buys this!

"Yea okay, and the truth?" She asks.

I freeze and just look down. Christina takes my hand and leads me into the backyard even though it's like 10pm and it's like what? 2 degrees! 
Since I'm not wearing a sweater, Christina gives me hers as we sit on the grass outside.
