I'll Always Be Here For You {Laurisa}

Lisa's POV:

"Hey Laur, oh-," I enter my younger sisters bedroom to find her sitting on her bed bawling her eyes out.

"What's wrong Ladybug?" I ask as I see her look up at me. I sit down on her bed and open my arms for a hug, which she quickly lunges into.

She sits on my lap and cries, her sobs breaking my heart. She rests her head in my neck and my shirt becomes damp with her tears. I start to stroke her back while rocking her slowly in my lap.

"Lauren? You okay?" I ask her again, not expecting a response but she slowly nods her head as if to say yea. But she's not okay. Otherwise she wouldn't be sobbing in my lap.

"I know you're not okay ladybug, tell me what's wrong," I say softly while she gently brings her head out of my neck to look me in my eyes.

Her sad brown eyes meet mine and my heart aches at her red eyes and her red face.

"Lucas b-broke u-up with m-me," She chokes out and my grip on her instantly goes tighter.

"Aw Laur," I say soothingly and gently push her head back into my neck and kiss her forehead while stroking her back.

"He doesn't deserve you. I can't believe he did this!" I say to her, anger and confusion laced in my voice.

"He said that he f-found someone else and he," She says through sniffles, calming down a little bit.

"He may have found someone else but that person will never be as good as you baby girl. You were probably the best thing to ever happen to him love," I interrupt her while resting my head into hers. Her sobs have quieted down now but there still there.

She doesn't say anything but wraps her arms around my back and moves so she's sitting on my lap, facing me. She looks up at me, sadness and confusion in her eyes while she clears her throat.

"Why would he break up with me Lise?" She asks me and my heart breaks at what I'm witnessing right now. Lauren is too sweet and innocent for this world and seeing anyone make her upset hurts me.

"I don't know Laur, I wish I did but I don't. I do know though, that he's a jerk and not worth your time. You're perfect and beautiful okay, and anyone who can't see that is blind or dumb." I say while giving her a small smile which she reciprocates. She giggles a little bit which makes me smile.

"I hate seeing you so sad Laur, it really breaks me. You're so perfect and I hate seeing anyone make you upset. It really annoys me," I tell her which she smiles at and gives me a warm, tight hug.

"I love you Lise, thank you," She tells me, I kiss her forehead and smile.

"I love you too ladybug," I say and she let's go of the hug to give me a smile.

"Come on, let's go cheer you up," I tell her while picking her up and placing her on the bed beside me.

"Lisa, I don't feel like doing anything right now." She tells me and lies on her bed. I take her hand and pull her up again while she gives me a glare.

"I promise it'll be fun Lo," I tell her, giving her the look that she always gives in to. She rolls her eyes and sighs but gets up off her bed and says,

"Fine. But can we get ice cream?" I laugh at her words and nod while I lead her out the door and to my car.

"Lisa look!" Lauren exclaims happily while pointing to a new ride at the fair. We've already been on so many rides and ate so much ice cream that I think my stomach is going to explode.

We ride the new ride while laughing and talking about stupid stuff. As the ride began to stop, I see Lauren looking at something behind me, I turn around to look at what she's staring at.

"Oh my gosh," I mutter as right in front of me, stands a jerk with his new girl, I'm guessing, making out in-front of the gate to this ride.

I look over at Lauren to see her eyes filled with tears and her face go red, my heart instantly drops to my stomach and the anger pops out in an instant.

I angrily storm off the ride and past the security who tell me it's the wrong way out, I climb over the gate, ignoring the words from security as I stand right in front of Lucas.

I clear my throat and he pulls away to look at me. His cheeks go red and plays with his fingers.

"If you ever hurt my sister again, I promise you, I'll f*ck you up so bad that you'll wish you never even met her." I spit out the words before pushing him out the way and storming over to the exit of the gate where Lauren waits for me.

"Laur," I say and pull her into my arms.

"I'm okay Lisa," She tells me and sniffles. I hate seeing her like this. I wish I could take all her pain away.

She breaks away from the hug and wipes away a few tears with her hand. I rub her back till her tears have all gone.

"Come on, let's go home." I say to her. We head to the car and drive home.

"I'm sorry he was there Laur. I really wanted this to be a fun thing for you," I tell her as I climb onto her bed and lay down next to her, cuddling her as she rests her head on my neck.

"It was fun Lise. I don't care about him anymore, I don't even want to think about him anymore." She tells me and I nod.

"Are you okay?" I ask her.

"More than okay. Thank you for taking my mind off it Lise. I love you," She says and makes my heart smile while I kiss her forehead.

"I love you Laur, I will always be here for you and to take your mind off of things."
