it gets younger and younger you see.
how young will we be when we stop our try at work.
how young will we be when we think school is a bust.
how young will we be when we bully everyone because we aren't proud of ourselves.
how young will we be when we start yelling at our guardians.
how young will we be when we think we're better than everyone else.
how young will we be when technology consumes us.
how young will we be when all we do is grieve.
how young will we be when all we want to do is bleed as we cry.
how young will we be when we start smoking herb.
how young will we be when we start popping and swallowing those pills.
how young will we be when we inject the juice as an escape.
how young will we be when we let the burning sensation slither down our throats.
how young will we be when we kiss and love.
how young will we be when we're making out on a public restroom sink.
how young will we be when we are having sex because that's what we think is love.
how young will we be when all we think about is dying.
how young will we be when we start lying...
how young will we be when we give up on others and ourselves.
how young will we be when we stop caring about what others say to save us.
how young will we be when we slip into a void of desperation and despair.
how young will we be when the words from others mean nothing and those escapes are how we pity ourselves.
how young will we be when we care not of what the good is.
how young will we be when we scream at the negativity.
how young will we be when we think we are done for.
how young will we be when we are dead.
how young will we be when we believe what they say
when we care what they think.
when we cut our skin.
when we starve our bodies
just so we can be thin.
when we push ourselves over the edge.
when we love someone and we are told it's a sin.
when we fight as best we can but fall to the ground
because you aren't actually fighting if you let the void consume you.
if you let the words ingrain in you.
if you pity yourself because there's "nothing you can do."
well here's what you can do.
believe in the shine that follows through, because out of everyone there's only you.
believe in the love that's given to you, because out of the negativity there's more positive, we are just so blind.
believe and take the concern that's being thrown at you, because it's only to strength you. it's care.
believe in yourself and the possibility of the good in life.
I know it's hard...
but how young will we be when we make a difference.
how young will we be when we are truly happy.
