Chapter 41

Christian POV

Ana Dad Taylor Ted and I get to the station and dad goes to ask for the detective so identification can be made and we can start to put this behind us. Ana sits next to me waiting to be called. We don't wait too long, Ana Dad and I go to the prisoner visiting area. We walk into the room and I see Carla handcuffed to a table glaring at us as we entered the room. I also see Jose and Elena handcuffed to tables as well. "Ma'am do you see your mother in this room"? "Yea sir she is right here" Ana points in Carla's direction. "Also there is Jose Rodriguez over there he is the one who abducted me over a year ago". She points in his direction. "So you know other woman in the room Ms Steele"? "No sir I don't". "Actually detective I do....that is Elena Lincoln, a former friend of mine with delusions of getting rid of Ana so I could be with her. I have told her repeatedly there wasn't a chance before Ana came into the picture, but she has her own ideals". Elena looks over at me with hurt and betrayal in her eyes. "So she has her own motivation in this case"? "Yes detective". "Ms Steele your mother would like a word with you". I look at Ana and see she is nervous. "You don't have to talk to her if you don't want babes". She looks at me and smiles a sad smile. "Unfortunately I do, I just need an answer and then she is dead to me". I nod and peck her lips and as I do I see Jose getting pissed. "OK I understand but to make me feel better dad or Taylor are with you". She agrees to dad staying with her. She continues to hold Ted and I go to grab him but she resists. "I need him so I don't do something stupid like launching over the table to take her out". I laugh but understand. "OK babe don't take too long I rescheduled your appointment for this afternoon with Dr Greene. Want to make sure my babies are healthy". I placed my hand on her abdomen and caressed it gently. I hear a commotion from where Jose is restrained. "Don't fucking touch my baby you bastard. That is my baby, my girl you fucking rich asshole". Jose keeps shouting and trying to break free from his restraints. Officers rush over and subdue him and take him into a cell. I look over and don't want to leave her here. "It's fine baby...your dad is here and I won't stay any longer than I need to. Let me clear the air and get my answers and I will be out of here". I nod and leave her to talk with Carla.

Ana POV

I look over at the woman who gave birth to me and am shocked at what she has caused because of her sick obsession. "Come on Ana dear, let's get this over with". We walk over to her table and sit down. "I understand you wanted to talk to me"? "Why are you lying about leaving Christian and that Jose kidnapped you and raping you? Can't you ever tell the truth"? "Actually I can and am. Jose did kidnap me mom it's on video, plus scars and marks all over my body agree with what I say happened. Why are you so quick to believe rapists and pedophiles over your own daughter"? "You lie and bend things to suit you. You know if that child you are carrying was a girl, I was going to raise it the way you should have been raised. Stephen and I would be better parents for that child than you. Why are you holding that child? Christian have a child on you while you were playing house with Jose"? I look at her shocked. "I guess Jose never told you. I was pregnant when you guys took me, this is my son. You will never know him, he will never know of you. As of now you are dead to me. All three of my children will never know of you. Such a waste, I hope your delusions were worth your only chance at grandchildren". She looks at me with shock. "This is my grandson"? Carrick looks at me and answers for me "No this is my grandson, you don't have any grandchildren. Have you not paid attention. Your actions have caused this. I have made sure if you and your cohorts are ever released, a permanent restraining order is in place. You will never know them. Ana dear let's go. You don't need this stress". I nod and get up, not easy with this baby bump. Carrick takes Teddy from me to make things easier. Carla is crying demanding to see her grandson as we walk out. "You can't do this Ana I am your mother. You can't keep my grandchildren from me. Please Ana come back here". I continue to walk, Carrick guiding me out with his hand on my back. I pride myself, I do not break down or go back like she demands. We are finally out in the lobby, where I finally break down and cry. Christian seeing me rushes over to comfort me. He looks at his father for an explanation. "Carla is seriously delusional. She contends that Ana is lying on them, Teddy isn't hers and she shouldn't raise children. Jose was going to take the baby she is carrying and give it to Carla and Stephen to raise properly since she couldn't". Christian just continues to hold me, offering me his love. "Hopefully we won't have to deal with these people again. Let's go home". As we go to leave an officer comes over to us, "Mr Grey Elena Lincoln requested to see you". I look at Christian and he looks like he wants to refuse.
