Ana POV

I am looking at the most beautiful man in the world holding the most beautiful ring asking me to be his wife. I absorb his words and whisper "yes" before I am picked up and twirled around the room. I lose track of who is here and how silly we both are being. As we come back to earth I notice Grace Carrick Gail and Sawyer in the room with us, smiling some with tears in their eyes. "But Christian I do not know how us being married will stop Jose from his evil plans". Carrick steps up to explain "My dear I explained to his council that you did not willing conceive these children with him, it was an act of rape. He is trying to say you both conceived them to raise together as a couple. Also that Christian is planting this information in your head to diminish your relationship with Jose. I clarified and even explained that Christian wasn't who found you and your story has remained the same from the start, also there is video footage of you being assaulted behind the bar. Jose still remains adamant so I explained to his attorney that you were engaged and to be married very soon. It strengthens your claim you are the victim not Jose or his merry band of morons". "So us getting married is just to fix a problem"? I look at Christian and see him begin to get upset. "No my love its not I purchased this ring and designed it myself with the help of a jeweler. It took months to make and I had him keep it in the safe at the store. When you came home I went with Ray to pick it up after I had ordered an inscription to be placed inside the ring. I also asked Ray's permission that day which he gave me happily".

"So you aren't just wanting to marry me just to keep the babies? You really want to have us be a family"? "Baby I would have asked you sooner but I was looking to make it romantic and special. But as with everything it never goes how we plan". I chuckle at this because it is just too true. "Mom was saying we could hold the service at their home in the backyard nice and simple. Reception as well. Gail and her can take care of catering and food. All you would need to worry about is your dress. Flowers and everything else can be arranged off of your preferences". I think about this and it sounds just perfect, a wedding to the man I love without the stress and frills to follow. "That sounds lovely. When would we get married"? Christian looks at his parents then back at me "2 weeks". "Then I better call Ray and Mia so she can be my Maid of Honor. Plus I will need her help to find a dress that doesn't make me look like an arctic ice cap". "Ana you could never look anything but beautiful. I will call Mia to come over so you can speak in person". Christian walks away giving me a wink and I chuckle. "Grace your sure about this"? "Yes dear I am but I want to be honest. I am having the party planner adjust the times to make it seem we have been planning this. I do not like deception but I want you and those babies protected, and I am a mama bear when it comes to my cubs". I chuckle "I love you guys, you treat me better than my own mother did. I would never question your motives I know it would be to protect me". I go to hug Grace and Carrick also Gail as she is silently weeping in the background. "I was so scared when I came home and Teddy was screaming and I couldn't find you. I am so happy for you and Mr Grey, you both deserve so much happiness. I am only saddened that we are not making it your dream wedding". I think for a minute "It may not be my 'dream wedding' but its my dream guy. So I am still doing OK I think". She nods in agreement and mumbles about food and such for the wedding and wanting it to be perfect.

I excuse myself for a moment with my cellphone to call Ray. "Hey Ray how's it going"? "Things are going good here Annie. How about for you"? "Well things here are both good and not so good. The good is Christian and I are getting married in 2 weeks. I want you to be there to give me away". "Oh Annie nothing would give me more pleasure than to give you away at your wedding. Where is it going to be"? "It's going to be in Bellevue at the estate, wedding reception the whole shebang. But with that good come some bad. Jose is trying to take the baby away from me Daddy". "What do you mean? He is in jail, plus he abused and hurt you for a year". "He is trying to claim we conceived the baby as far as he s concerned, cause he doesn't know it's twins, in a relationship planning for our future. Like I wasn't rapes and threatened repeatedly. He wants his dad to be the guardian until he gets out". "That is ridiculous. Does his father not realize what he did? I can speak to senior I you would like"? "That's ok dad because the wedding should also take care of that issue. I know that sounds horrible to say but I realized that Christian isn't just asking to fix an issue. He even told me how he'd asked your permission after I came home. He wanted it to be special and romantic. But as usual I get otherwise. But that is fine you know why"? "Why babygirl"? "I get my Christian and my family in the end". "That is all that matters Annie. Have Christian let me know what tux shop he is using and the color scheme stuff for the vest and whatnot that goes with this stuff". "How about you send him your measurements and you come down next week to make sure everything is alright"? "Now that sounds like a plan. I will call him tomorrow and get this started. Love you Annie. See you next week. Can I stay with you guys when I come"? "Of course Daddy. You don't have to ever ask that. Our home is your home". "Thanks Annie see ya soon". "Bye Daddy love you". "Always girl always love you too". We hang up and I feel better. I go back into the living room and see a spitfire coming straight at me.
