Something Better

Chapter 5

People turned and stared at the maid of honor and best man as they slowly made their way down the aisle.

Guest couldn't help but stare at Lea the whole time.

Casey who stood at the alter, watched the two. He smiled at both of them.

Raph smiled at his best bud. Once they got to the alter Raph and Lea parted ways. Eyes stared at Lea for a moment until the next bridesmaid and groomsmen came walking down the aisle. When the rest of the bridesmaids and groomsmen part at the alter all eyes landed on Lea for the few seconds before everyone stood up and turned back to the entrance and watched as April and her father walked down the aisle together.

Lea smiled at April and April smiled back at her. Then Casey and April made eye contact and Lea could see so much love in her eyes. She couldn't help but awe out loud, which made her blush as all eyes turned to her. April giggled, but smiled non the less.

Soon the two were saying their vows and exchanging their rings.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Casey turned to April and leaned in, kissing her. It lasted for a good 15 seconds, the guest cheering them on, before the two pulled away.

The rest of the wedding was full of laughter and dancing. They soon were having cake and soon people were leaving.

Casey and April only wanted to have a short wedding, they didn't want it lasting the whole night.

"Thanks guys....I really appreciate it." Casey said happily.

"No problem." Raph said.

Lea smiled at Casey and April, she had changed back into her dress and tried to give April back the dress but April had insisted that she take it. Telling her that no one else would be able to fit in it and plus she could keep it for memories.

Lea congratulated the couple once more before leaving with Raph.

When they got into the car Lea smiled.

"What are you so happy about?" Raph asked curious.

"Oh...I'm just so happy for them. And well I just hope I can see them again." Lea said and her smile vanished, she lowered her head and looked down at her lap sadly.

Raph saw this and grabbed one of her hands and squeezed it, "trust me...you will." Raph smiled down at her.

Lea looked at their hands then up at Raph and smiled.

She then drove off back to her apartment.

Once they were inside, the two changed and sat on the couch together and watched a movie.

"Lea?"

"Yeah?"

"Would you consider us a thing?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well...like we're dating or something."

"Oh...well I always thought we were friends with benefits."

"Oh.."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

Lea then turned and looked at Raph, "why? You don't want to be friends?"

Raph sighed and looked at her, "no I don't want to be friends Lea..." Raph grabbed her hand, "I want to be more that just friends."

Lea thought for a moment, then sighed. "Raph you know with my job I can't have a boyfriend."

"I know." Raph said and sighed.

Lea looked at Raph sadly, "look how about I make you a deal."

"Okay."

"I'll consider becoming your girlfriend after tonight." Lea said and smiled at Raph.

Raph smiled widely, "okay!"

Lea smiled at Raph, "but for now I just want to go and take a nap." She said and got up and stretched.

Raph turned the tv off and turned to her, "I could take one myself."

Lea smiled, "yep! And on the couch!"

Raph froze and glared at her playfully, "are ya being serious right now?"

Lea giggled, "no I'm just kidding. You can sleep with me." Raph smiled.

One their way to Lea's room Raph grabbed his phone and set and alarm to wake up, so they could go eat dinner and then watch a movie and maybe do other things.

When they got to Lea's room, Lea crawled into bed and Raph followed after her. Raph spooned her and kissed her neck. Lea moaned.

Raph smirked, "you and your sweet spots."

Lea giggled, "have a good nap Raph."

Lea soon fell asleep and Raph listened to Lea's breathing and soon fell asleep.

Raphaels alarm went off at seven thirty. The two groaned and stretched. Raph looked over at Lea and kissed her on the cheek. Lea smiled then got up and went to her closet and picked out something to wear for their dinner and movie.

"So do we need to dress formal or can we dress casual?" Lea asked from inside her closet.

Raph thought for a moment, "what's your casual?"

"Um...shorts and a shirt."

"Let's do casual then."

Lea smiled and picked out her clothes and changed into them. She walked out of the closet with socks and shoes in hand. Raph stared at her, looking her up and down. Lea pushed her hair aside and sat down on the edge of the bed and put her shoes on. Once she finished she turned and looked at Raph who stared at her.

"What?"

"You look so fucking hot in that!"

Lea raised a non existent eyebrow at Raph, "uh...okay. All I'm wearing is shorts and a crop top. What's so hot about that?"

"You."

Lea giggled and got up and walked over to the side of the bed where Raph slept. Raph sat up and wrapped his arms around Lea's waist.

Lea smiled and helped Raph up.

"Now go get ready. I'm going to put my hair up real quick." She said and smiled up at him.

Raph nodded and kissed her. He left her room and walked into the living room, grabbed a change of clothes out of his bag and went to the bathroom and changed.

Lea pulled her hair into a messy bun, not really caring. Then she walked into the living room and saw Raph changed and putting his shoes on.

She walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist, "ready to go!?"

Raph smiled and turned around, "yep! Are you?"

"Yep!"
