Sharing a secret - Remus Lupin

Chapter 2

A/N: okay so I am starting a bit earlier with this story than I planned. I hope you will enjoy it:)

Since of Selena's special situation she was allowed to use magic outside of school and because the school in Spain she went to was a day school, she learned to apparate at a very young age.

So now she was standing at Kings Cross station with her trunk and Hoot her Iberian Eagle Owl, looking at the letter with instructions Dumbledore gave her. She was supposed to run into the wall between platform 9 and 10, but decided to wait around to see someone else do it first and that drew the attention of a boy with half long black hair and a mischievous grin. 'you look like you were waiting for me' he smiled 'that is highly unlikely' she responded and the boy seemed taken by surprise for a moment but recovered quickly. 'Well you are clearly new to this and I'll be going to Hogwarts for the fifth time this year. And yes, you really need to run into the wall' the black haired boy said in a kinder tone, 'Thank you, I will go then' Selena said before she started speeding to the wall and right before her she saw a huge train appear.

After bringing her trunk away Selena went to search for a compartment together with Hoot, the fact that she could communicate with Hoot and any animal for that matter, made her feel less lonely surrounded by all these strange people.

With her tight jeans, leather jacket and owl on her shoulder she felt really out of place in the train, 'Are you new?' a voice behind her asked right before she wanted to walk into the empty compartment, 'yes, I am' she answered the pale boy with white/blond hair and he extended his hand 'Lucius Malfoy, Slytherin, Pureblood' he introduced himself. She raised her eyebrow at the mention of pureblood, why did he need to point that out? 'I don't think she cares' The black haired boy exclaimed who came to stand next to her along with 3 others, 'I think she does, someone needs to tell the pretty lady about the best houses before she gets sorted' Lucius said arrogantly. 'ahum' Selena coughed to stop the bickering between the obvious rivals, 'Actually, I already got sorted and Professor Dumbledore himself explained the houses and their background. But thank you for your kind offer' she said pretty annoyed by the boys. 'Which house?' Lucius asked, 'Gryffindor' Selena answered him before she walked into the empty compartment with Hoot still on her shoulder.

The black haired boy and his friends walked into the compartment and sat down, 'I never really got your name' the boy said grinning, 'Because I didn't say it' Selena answered while she looked at the boys, when her eyes met with the green ones of the tall light brown haired boy she had to hide her smile. She knew exactly what he was, what all of them were and she instantly liked them.

'My name is Selena Ochoa and you guys are?' Selena introduced herself in a lot friendlier tone than she had spoken the entire day, 'Sirius Black' the boy from earlier said, 'James Potter' A boy with shorter black hair stated, 'Peter Pettigrew' said the short boy.

'Remus Lupin, nice to meet you' he smiled and the silence got broken by Hoot who let out a hoot, 'oh and as she just stated, this is Hoot' Selena laughed thankful for her owl who made her break the eye contact.

'So Selena, where are you from, you don't look very British' James asked, 'A small village in the west of Spain near Salamanca' Selena told them and Hoot made a sound of agreement. Remus look amused at the owl and Hoot looked back at him 'she is quite the chatty owl' he grinned while Hoot decided to hop over to Remus and sit with him, letting out another agreeing hoot.
