Sharing a secret - Remus Lupin

Chapter 11

'Welcome Miss Ochoa' Dumbledore greeted her upon arrival, 'Thank you professor' she smiled 'You must be wondering why you are here' he said but Selena shook her head 'I think it is because of what happened during care of magical creatures. Maybe it would have been smart to warn the professor beforehand' Selena laughed and the headmaster grinned.

'I had a very confused professor here' Dumbledore began, 'Yeah, I may have told her to go to you for an explanation. But the Porlocks were so friendly and polite that I could not get myself to send them away' Selena said looking a bit embarrassed.

'I noticed that there are more things drawn to you than just the Porlocks' Dumbledore said knowingly 'I figured you'd know' Selena smiled and the headmaster nodded 'I just didn't expect it in human form to be so strong' He admitted and Selena let out a sigh 'You and me both professor, you and me both' she said. 'I know it might be none of my business, but I'd like to know how the first full moon went. I'm rather curious' Dumbledore said, 'once again, you and me both professor' Selena smiled

During their time in the great hall Remus could not help himself but glance at the doors every once in a while to check if Selena was there yet and of course this did not go unnoticed by the others, but they decided to let it go for the moment.

'What did you do to Selena? You did not leave her to get lost in the castle did you?' Lily asked the boys, 'No Lilypad, she needed to go to Dumbledore' James told her and with that she left again, but the boys attention was diverted quickly when Remus let out a low growl.

Selena came walking into the great hall together with Severus Snape, she waved him off with a smile before walking to the Gryffindor table and sitting down with her friends 'So what did Dumbledore want?' Sirius asked her, 'Just as I said, he didn't think I was hanging out with you out of free will. He thought you guys were forcing me' she said with a straight face and the shocked looks upon their faces caused her to burst out in laughter.

'Just kidding, he wanted to know how I was holding up with everything' she told them.

As the week progressed Selena found herself more and more curious about what her mother could explain to her about the situation, just as everyday she spend her day with Remus in classes with the occasional exception of poisons where she sat with Severus and the lunches she spend with Lily and Marlene.

James, Sirius and Peter spend a few of their free hours where Remus would have class in the library to find an explanation to his behavior.

Dying for some alone time Selena hurried out of class before the boys could even notice, just to roam the hallways by herself for once and get her thoughts in line. 'If it isn't the beautiful Miss Ochoa, finally escaped from your guard dogs I see' she heard Lucius Malfoy behind her, 'Not now Malfoy' she sighed but he did not take no for an answer 'ever since the train Potter and his crew have been around you every second of the day. It was hard to find you all alone' he said while stepping closer to her.

Selena started to feel rather uncomfortable and was looking for a way out without having to harm the guy, 'Why did you need me to be alone anyways' she said irritated, 'Those twats would never let me near you and I'd rather you be alone' Lucius Malfoy said smiling creepily and Selena searched for her wand without any success.

As she took another step backwards she felt that she was against a wall and that there was no way out right now.
