The following morning Selena walked down to the common room and found the four boys there waiting for her 'The girls not done yet?' Sirius asked after the exchanged greetings, 'No they just woke up, they are still getting ready'  Selena told them and James smiled 'Well you are welcome to join us for breakfast' he stated, 'Thank you, I'd like that' Selena thanked the guys.

'Looking forward to the classes?' Remus asked Selena after being forced to sit next to her, not that it was a bad thing, not at all. 'Yes, my only concern it the language barrier. My English is good, but I'm afraid that the essays are going to be a bit of a struggle.' She told him honestly, 'Well I can help you with that, if you'd want that' Remus said a bit to eagerly which cause the other boys to snicker.

'Good morning, I'm assuming you are not causing any trouble for Miss Ochoa, are you' professor McGonagall said strictly to the boys while she handed out their schedules, 'Not at all professor, we are just helping her out' James said a tad too polite and McGonagall looked at Selena for confirmation, she nodded her head as a confirmation and McGonagall left them to hand out the rest of the schedules.

'Are you always this friendly to new students?' Selena asked the boys while she studied her timetable, 'Only to the pretty ones' Sirius answered causing Selena to laugh. 'So what's the damage?' James asked nodding towards her timetable, 'Not that bad, starting with Charms, then 2 hours of History of magic, lunchbreak, potions, free period and muggle studies. What about you guys?' she said and with that the sheet op parchment was pulled from her hands and carefully studied by James and Sirius. 'Well we have Charms, History of magic and potions together today, but our lessons don't add up that much mostly 1 or 2 per day.' James said, 'You and Remus however, have the exact same schedule. Isn't that nice Rem' Sirius said in a tone that made Selena raise her eyebrows.

'At least you don't have to worry about getting lost then' Peter exclaimed, the group stood up to get their books from the rooms when Selena heard Lily call for her 'Selena! I'm sorry we are so late. Did you already get your schedule?' Lily apologized, 'It's no problem Lil, the guys were waiting for me. Yes I've got it here' Selena answered and handed Lily the parchment. 'Oh, well at least we have History of magic and potions together today. I'm sorry I won't be able to show you to all your classes today. Maybe we can compare the rest during lunch?' Lily asked her, 'Well Remus has the exact same classes as me, so I guess I'll be following him around. But we'll talk over lunch okay? I really need to get my books' Selena said when she turned around and walked towards the boys who were waiting for her a few steps away.

When she turned around Selena bumped straight into a black haired Slytherin boy, knocking him over. 'oh my god, I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention!' she exclaimed shocked while lending him a hand to get up, the boy looked confused by her words and action but thankfully accepted her help. 'It's okay, but don't make a habit out of knocking people over' he said in such a serious tone that Selena did not know if he was joking or really advising her to. 'Severus Snape' he introduced himself, 'Selena Ochoa' she said 'Oi Lena! Don't waste time on that git, we got to go!' Sirius told her in an irritated tone and Selena looked at him with raised eyebrows 'Well that's not very nice to say' she said short, 'Nice meeting you Severus, but I got to go' she waved goodbye to Severus and followed the boys to the Gryffindor tower.
