Sharing a secret - Remus Lupin

Chapter 25

'Okay, time to talk' James spoke up when the group deserted back to their dorms 'How did you manage to keep this a secret from us?' Sirius asked and Remus let out a sigh 'we mostly went to the library to be together' he admitted 'ah the library, where it all started' Sirius snickered and Remus punched him on the arm.

'Okay, so tell us all the details' Lily said happily when the entered their dorm, 'details about what?' Selena asked her 'Remus and you of course silly' Marlene laughed and Selena smiled 'we mostly just sneaked to the library to be alone' she admitted not knowing what else to tell them.
'So how did it start?' Marlene asked 'well, it was all after the whole library situation' Selena started but Lily shook her head 'No, when did you fall for him' she explained and Selena turned bright red when she thought back " 'Remus Lupin, nice to meet you' he smiled" 'on the train' she muttered embarrassed 'ahw!' the girls echoed.

The next morning Selena woke up earlier than usual, she decided to grab an early breakfast and wait for Lily and Marlene to go to Hogsmeade, she got dressed in her normal clothes and headed for the great hall.
She was hoping that her family had replied in her letter by now and was not paying attention to where she was going untill she collided with something.
She almost fell onto the floor was it not for the arm that kept her up, 'I'm sorry!' Selena apologized 'No problem, are you okay?' the tall Slytherin boy replied 'Yes, I am fine. I got a knack for bumping into people' Selena smiled friendly at the familiar boy. 'Regulus Black' he introduced himself 'Selena Ochoa' she replied shaking his hand and Regulus smirked 'I know, you are friend with my brother and well frankly everybody here knows the beautiful new girl' he said in the same charismatic tone Sirius could have.

Together they walked into the great hall and parted ways to sit at their own house tables 'I will see you around Selena' Regulus smiled, Selena sat down and started her breakfast, it wasn't before long at her boyfriend and friends joined her.
'Why is he staring this way' Sirius grunted annoyed and Selena looked at him questioningly 'My brother' Sirius began 'Oh Regulus, I met him this morning' she answered bluntly and all eyes were on her now, she did not spend a lot of thought on it since the owls were coming in.
Hoot landed between Selena and Remus and handed her the long awaited letter, which Selena eagerly opened;

Dear,

Yes, it is different for us since you are gone, but there is no reason to worry. Everything is just fine, it is mostly the mood on the day before the full moon and we all know enough to leave each other alone.

We do all miss you a lot and cannot wait for you to return this Christmas.

How is you boyfriend doing? I am guessing he is your boyfriend by now.

'You met my brother this morning?' Sirius asked as soon as Selena tucked the letter away, 'Yes, I ran into him in the hallways' she explained and Sirius shook his head 'If he insulted you in any-' 'no he was rather charming' she interrupted Sirius.
This was Remus his cue to be alert 'Rather charming?' he asked her, 'very friendly' she answered and Sirius shook his head 'you are so naïve Lena'

Shortly after that Lily and Marlene entered the great hall 'Want to meet up around four in front of the three broomsticks?' Remus asked his girlfriend and the whole table fell silent 'Sure see you later' Selena answered before pressing a kiss on his cheek.
'You two are just too cute together' Lily smiled, Marlene agreed quickly and Selena blushed at their comments.
