Remus his quick reflexes kicked in and he managed to easily catch Selena, 'Well thanks Rem' she smiled at the now bright red boy, 'what's wrong?' she asked him worriedly and Remus just stared at her 'Rem?!' she called him out a little louder than before, the boy seemed startled. 'Sorry, what did you say?' he asked embarrassed 'Well I thanked you for catching me, asked you if you were alright because you seem a bit flustered and then called out your name' Selena summed up amused 'Oh yeah, I'm fine, perfectly fine' he said and Selena let out a short giggle 'Then why do you look like you have just been caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar?' she asked him.

'Well eh, I eh, It's just eh' Remus stuttered nervously, 'It's just what Rem?' Selena asked softly but Remus found himself lost for words when he looked into her eyes 'Maybe you could put me down, not that I don't like being so close to you' Selena said blushing at the comment she just blurted out.
Remus gently put her down, averted his gaze and cleared his throat again 'Let's get to work' he said before leaving to their claimed table.

After the two finished their homework they headed back to the common room, not speaking a word to each other and when they came to the common room Remus walked straight past his friends up to his dorm.
'What is up with him?' Sirius asked confused by his friends behavior, 'I don't know, he has been behaving like this ever since the library' Selena said, 'Did something happen?' James asked her and Selena shook her head 'I almost fell, but that is pretty much it' she said thinking back.
'Almost fell?' Peter and Sirius asked in unison, 'Well technically I did fall' Selena said and she told the story of climbing the shelf and Remus catching her.

Sirius started laughing 'So you climbed a book shelf?' 'yes' 'Remus was standing underneath it?' 'yes' 'and you were wearing that?' 'yes' They went back and forth and Selena glanced down at her outfit.
Her eyes widened and cheeks went bright red 'Ai dios mio' she murmured covering her face in embarrassment 'Didn't your parent ever tell you to not climb while wearing a skirt' James teased the poor girl 'multiple times' Selena said while standing up, 'where are you going?' Peter asked 'I am going to my dorm to die of embarrassment' she answered him before she left the room.
When Selena reached her room she let herself fall onto her bed and let out a loud grunt, 'What's up with you?' Marlene asked her and so Selena told the girls the story of what happened.

The moment Selena left the common room the boys hurried upstairs to Remus, the found him staring blankly ahead sitting on his bed 'Picturing it again?' Sirius teased him, 'I don't know wh-' Remus started but James cut him of 'Selena just told us what happened and may have figured out why you were acting so strange' he spoke carefully and Remus let himself fall back on his bed 'She is going to think I'm a creep' he whined 'You are not a creep Rem, knowing you, you looked away as soon as you noticed' Peter tried to make his friend feel better.
Remus went bright red and shook his head 'you dog!' James said surprised 'No, me dog, he wolf' Sirius joked.

'Let's just go and grab a bite to eat' Marlene said, 'I'm not leaving this room' Selena said 'oh, come on. Just sit with us' Lily said, Selena gave in and joined them for lunch praying that Remus would not be sitting at the table.
Her prayers were heard, she let out a sigh of relieve when she did not spot the boy and his friends in the great hall as they sat down.
