Sharing a secret - Remus Lupin

Chapter 15

The other girls were already asleep when she reached the bedroom, she made her bed look like she had been in it, quickly changed into skinny jeans and a simple tanktop and  walked back to hear the boys leave. Selena waited a few more minutes so she wouldn't walk into them before she snuck out and made her way towards the forest, where she was kindly greeted by all the animals as usual.

The boys were not greeted by a kind animal, even in their animal forms Remus fought them to exit the shrieking shack, the boys were terrified that he would go into the castle to search for Selena and were relieved when they saw him head for the forbidden forest.

'There is a possibility that she is there again, it won't be the first time she is in the forest at night' James said and they hurried after their friend.

When they finally found him he was standing eye to eye with Selena whom did not look scared at all, Sirius stood in between the girl and the werewolf and Remus did not like this at all.

But the very moment Remus launched an attack at Sirius Selena jumped in between the two, 'No! you cannot attack your friends Rem' she scolded while swapping the werewolf on the nose to get his attention and the other three were astonished by her actions. Both by the fact that Selena knew exactly who they were and that she swatted and scolded a werewolf.

Remus was still growling at Sirius who was too close to Selena for his liking, 'It's okay Sirius, He won't hurt me' she assured the boy who slowly took a step back and the werewolf focussed his full attention on the girl. 'Oh you guys have been fighting already' she said when she saw the wounds on Remus, after she easily healed the wounds she started petting the werewolf to calm him down, 'You do need to take better care of your fur Rem, it's all tangled up' she spoke to him.

When the werewolf laid his head on her lap Selena signalled the others that it was safe to come closer, 'I guess I  owe you an explanation for all this tomorrow morning' she sighed and the animals nodded their heads, 'But let me take a look at those gashes Siri, Rem is asleep anyways' Selena said while carefully getting up.

She easily healed the gashes and sat with the others until Remus let out a growl 'Stop being so possessive, these are your friends' Selena once again scolded the werewolf that was twice as tall as she was. As the other were in animal form Selena was able to hear their thought and communicate with them 'Yes I scold him, if he is misbehaving I scold him. Werewolf or not these are not proper ways of behaving' she spoke out loud. 'I will explain everything to you guys tomorrow, because I think Remus needs to hear it as well and I'm am not sure if he will remember this tomorrow' she told them, 'He mostly doesn't remember anything of what he did' Peter said and Selena nodded as she stood up to stretch her legs 'don't leave' she heard Remus whine and she looked at the werewolf in surprise 'oh so clingy Rem' she answered him with a warm smile before she sat down again.

The others looked baffled at the silent conversation the two had and were even more surprised when Selena leaned against the werewolf and fell asleep. 'so how long before they become an item?' James asked, 'a few weeks?' Peter said, 'I think less' Sirius laughed  as they all laid down, this was the easiest full moon ever for the boys.
