Chapter 22: Good Morning

"The tour is almost over!!" Uncle Ben moaned as were driving to the next stop, "The last performance is tomorrow!!"

I nodded as I was making breakfast, "Yeah, time flies by fast."

Man, who knew? Well, dear reader, if you made it this far, I just want to let you know it hurts my heart leaving these boys. Not because one of them likes me, but because they all made an impact in my life. This was a crazy adventure, and I wouldn't change any of it.

"Do you think your ready to head back home and face everyone?" I heard uncle ben asked and that got me thinking.

Am I ready seeing everyone? I mean, I texted my dad a couple times and we seem to be in good terms, and the girls at my school stopped bothering my on twitter, but that doesn't mean school will be better.

"I don't know." I sighed, "Thinking about it makes me nervous."

"Well, if you want my opinion, they won't not do anything since it's been a while and you weren't there, but if something does happen, you will face them head strong cause you're better now."

I wanted to say "Yeah now." But I don't even like thinking about it so let alone talking about it so I just chuckled, "Thanks, Uncle."

Later, I heard someone coming out of there bunks, and I see Ashton rubbing his eyes.

"Morning." Ashton smiled at me, and gave me a quick hug.

"Morning to you too."

He stood next to me, and nudged me, "So you and Luke, huh?" Ashton giggled, "Took you guys long enough."

"It's been a couple of weeks." I grinned, "Besides, the lover boy was confusing."

"Both of you guys were confusing! Like, Jesus." Ashton started laughing, and nudged me, "But I'm happy for you guys."

I nodded, "Thanks."

"Are you two official now?"

"I mean, I guess."

"What do you mean by 'I guess'?"

"Well, he told me he likes me and kissed me. He didn't ask me to be his girlfriend."

"Does he have to? You both obviously like each other."

"Yeah, but," I sighed, "Luke does have a point of us being at different places and him being busy of being a rockstar."

We both started laughing and Ashton put his hand on my shoulder, "That's true, but hey, don't stress on that, you only have a day left with him."

I nodded, "That's what I'm trying to do, and it's not just him," I looked at him and smiled, "I only have a day with all of you guys."

Ashton gave me a small smile, and sighed, "I know, I can't believe it." then he patted the top of my head, "Be good back home, okay? I want that," He pointed at my wrist, "To stop."

I nodded, "Of course."

We were quiet for a bit till, I had to ask him something I was kind of curious about.

"Ash, can I ask you something?"

He nodded, "Shoot."

"Um.." I bit my lower lip, "You know that brief time that you and I were close because Luke wanted sometime apart."

"How could I forget?" He chuckled, and I smiled, "Yeah, so, how do I ask this without making it awkward..."

"Too late for that cause I already know what you're gonna ask, Lani." He smiled at me, and I looked at him, "Really?"
