Two more days. Two more days till 5SOS’s tour is over. Two mores days till I go back to reality. Two more days till Luke and I will be officially apart. Two more days till I’m back to the past.

“Lani,” Uncle Ben sighed, “I know this gonna be tough for you.”

We were at a diner, eating breakfast, in New York while the guys were rehearsing. We decided to spend some time together before I leave in two days.

I shrugged, “You can say that. I mean, I don’t want to go back.”

“I don’t want you to go either.” Uncle Ben put his hand on top of mine, “But I feel like things will be different once you go back.”

I looked at him, “What gave you that idea?”

He grinned, “Because you’re different now.”

I can’t help but to smile, “You’re right. I am different, thanks to you.”

I mean, he’s not wrong, that’s for sure. If you followed me for this long (which I applaud you), then I can feel the difference. New friends, memories, habits and old passions re-flamed itself. I’ve been waking up with a smile on my face, and always had something to look forward throughout the day. Even though things are different back home compare to what is going now, I know that I am different compare to who I was before I joined this amazing adventure.

“Keep in touch with me, okay?” I said to Uncle Ben, “Don’t be a lazy ass, and forget.”

He chuckled, “I can never forget about you, kiddo.”

“I can’t either.” I smiled at him, “I can never forget this trip.”

“I’m glad you enjoyed it. I knew you would, even though you had a rough start.”

“Hey, that’s the fun of it,” I picked up my cup, “Starting out different to let the journey be more exciting.”

“True that, kiddo.” He took his cup and we clinked on it.

While we were eating, Uncle Ben blurted out, “So, I’ll be driving you back home. It’s gonna be a long ride.”

I shrugged, “The longer, the better.”

Uncle Ben laughed, “I knew you would love that idea.”

“There’s a lot of things you know about me, Uncle.” I grinned, and took a bite of my omelette.

When we were at the theater where the guys are performing at, my stomach started to feel funny. I thought it might be digestion so I let it be. Then, Uncle Ben and I started walking around back stage, looking for the guys, and my stomach started hurt.

“Ugh.” I groaned, and held my stomach.

“Need to use the bathroom?” Uncle Ben asked me and I nodded, “Yeah, I think so.”

So I ran to the bathroom, and you know, use it. My stomach felt a little better but there was still little pain. It might go away later so I just ignored it.

I walked in the dressing room, and bursted in, “YOU GUYS PUMPED?!”

The guys jumped, and Ashton chuckled, “Well aren’t you excited!”

“Yeeeah!” I cheered, “It’s New York! Why wouldn’t I?”

“That’s true.” Ashton grinned at me, “So, how was quality time with Ben?”

I shrugged, and leaned against the wall, “It was good. We were just talking about this trip, and uh..” I sighed, “How I’m leaving in two days.”

The guys became dead silent, and their faces fell.

“Geeze,” I chuckled, “It just got depressing in here.”

They all stayed quiet, looking at the ground and I rolled my eyes, “Guuuuys!!” I jumped around, “Come on! It’s still two days away! Don’t waste it by being mopey!” I grabbed Ashton’s arms, and spun him around.

“LANI!” Ashton chuckled, “I’m getting dizzy!”

Then I went up to Michael, put my fingers on the corners of his lips, and pushed it up, “SMIIIILE!”

“Come on!” Michael groaned, but still smiling, “You know I don’t like it when you touch my face!”

Then I went up to Calum who was sitting next to Luke. I faced him and pinched his cheeks, “CHUBBY CHEEEKS!”

“AHH!” Calum groaned, “You promised you wouldn’t do that again!” but he was laughing as he messaging his cheeks.

I stick my tongue out at him, “I still like your chubby cheeks.”

Then I went up to Luke who was looking away from me. Ever since what happened that one night, he definitely brought the whole taking time apart to a whole new level. Literally avoiding me in every way you can think of. Ignoring my questions, walking away from me, leaving me alone in a room, and such, but I didn’t let them get to me because I know in my gut that Luke is just trying to figure things out.

I took his beanie, “Come on, pouty. Flash me smile.”

Luke ignored me, and I sighed, “I guess I have tooooo..” I started tickling him, “get that smile out for you!”

Luke started shouting, “HEY! STOP IT!”

“BACK UP GUYS!” I shouted for the guys help, and we all tickled him.

“STOOOP!” Luke started chuckling, “It’s too much!!”

Then, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I backed away, and held my stomach. Jesus, what the hell is going on? My stomach started to hurt really bad, and there’s a pounding head ache going on. I felt really dizzy, and I wasn’t breathing right.

The guys were busy laughing, till Luke saw me, and asked, “Are you okay?”

I nodded, “Yeah, um..” my head started to feel light headed, "Just feeling off, but I'll be okay."

Luke gave me a stare, went up to me, and put his hand on my forehead, "You're catching something again?"

I shook my head, and took his hand off, "Nope! I'm just fine."

"Are you sure?" He asked me, and I nodded, "Totally."

Then we were quiet for a while, then I realized we were holding hands. When I saw our hands, I can't help but to think about the day we were first met. How we bumped into each other, and held hands unknowingly like this.

Luke saw our hands, and coughed, slowly letting go, "Uh, well, I'm glad your fine."

I nodded, "Yeah, thanks."

"GEEZE." Michael groaned, "Can you guys kiss and make up already?! This is so awkward!"

Luke and I looked him and everyone just started laughing. I looked at Ashton, who grinning at me and he nodded, as if he knows exactly what I'm thinking which was Things are getting better.

The guys were doing a fan meet and greet while I was stuck in the bathroom with an awful stomach ache.

"Miss, do you need anything else?" One of the workers, Sarah, asked me. She saw me struggling to stand up and when I was trying to walk to the bathroom, I had to leaned against the wall to get to the bathroom. Sarah helped me to go the bathroom, and she got me some medicine for the stomach ache, but it wasn't working. I am currently squatting on the ground, holding my stomach to dear life.

I shook my head, "No.." I coughed. Jesus, this is like being punched in the stomach and my head feels so light. I can't think clearly because of it.

Then I someone opened the door, and I hear my uncle asking, "Is she okay?" Then he came up to me, and put his arm around my shoulders, "Lani, are you okay?"

"Ugh.." I groaned, "I don't know why this is happening....it hurts so bad.."

"What was the last thing she ate?" Sarah asked my uncle, and he told her, "It was at this diner we found close to a theater."

"What theater?"

"I don't know, what is it called, Lani?"

"Best Buy theater.." I moaned, and another sharp pain happened .

"I see, well, it seems some kind of food poisoning. She probably ate something that wasn't good in the diner."

"Oh god." Uncle Ben groaned, "Is she gonna be okay?!"

"Yeah, but she needs to go to the hospital.." Sarah sighed, and patted my head, "You'll be okay, sweetie."

I nodded, and when I tried to get up, I manage to balance myself, "Yeah, I'll go but later, I have to head back with the guys."

"Lani.." Uncle Ben helped me stand up properly, "You have to go now. You'll see the guys later."

I shook my head, "No. I have to spend as much time with them as possible..."

"But-"

"Uncle, please." I looked at him and he starred at me, "I'll go when they perform but for now, I have to stay by their side."

He sighed, "Fine, but when you throw up, I'll be the jerk to say I  told you so."

I chuckled, "You're always a jerk."

"You got that right, kiddo." Uncle Ben smiled, and let me go, "Think you can walk on your own?"

I nodded, "Definitely. Don't tell the guys, okay? They have a lot of pressure on them already."

Uncle Ben nodded, "I understand, now come on. They're almost done."

When we were at the car ride back to the theater, I was resting my head on the window, holding on to my stomach. The guys were talking among themselves, and I just let them be while I was messaging my temples. I didn't even look who was sitting next to me because my head is banging , and everything was just so blurry. Ugh, this head ache is killing me. Then out of nowhere, I felt someone pulling my arm. I looked at the person expecting Ashton but it was Luke in his freaking adorable beanie. Jesus, why hide your hair in a beanie?! He took out his phone and typed up, "Rest your head on my lap, and I'll massage your head."

I shook my head, saying softly, "It's okay, you don't have to."

He shook his head, and whispered back, "I know, but I want to. You done it for me, so I'll do it for you."

I was about to say something, but he put his hand over my mouth, "Don't argue, Malulani." He smiled at me. Ah, how can I argue with that smile? So, I just laid my head down on his thigh, and then his hand started messaging my head.

"Is this okay?" He whispered, and I nodded, "It's perfect.."

He chuckled, and sighed, "Are you sure you okay?"

"I'm fine now."

“Do you feel uncomfortable in anyway?”

“Noo. You know,” I sighed, “I never did in the first place..”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Then why-”

“Luke, can I tell you something?”

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry about everything."

"Don't apologize, Lani. I was being selfish, and-"

"No, I was. I took advantage of your kindness and patience and I just kept pushing you away. I'm sorry that I kept pushing you and shutting you out. You did nothing wrong, Luke. I just scared myself again."

“Well,” he brushed my hair away from cheeks, and whispered, “Apology accepted.” and he kissed my cheek.

I sighed, and buried my face on his black skinny jeans, “I missed you.”

He started chuckling, “Malulani, I’ve been here the whole entire time.”

“I know,” I sighed, then took his hand, “But I miss being with you like this.”

I heard chuckled, and kissed my hand, “Me too, Malulani, me too.”

Then we were quiet for a while till I heard Ashton whispering, “You two finally kiss and made up?”

I stayed quiet, pretending to be asleep, and Luke laughed, “You can say that. We made up but that kiss part haves to wait.”

“Uh-huh, suuuure, lover boy. Too late for that.”

What? Too late for what?
