Chapter four

Kalie's pov:

Once my belly was full of breakfast I headed back to the house.
Right when I entered the house my mom was crying and Robbert was at her side
"Kalie?" She said while they both looked up at me
"Hey." I said waving a hand at them
"You are safe!"
"Mom, I was at..."
"Ya I know but it's still a creepy place down there."
"Well I'm going to go get my bags."
"Please, Kalie stay for dinner..." Robbert said
"Mom, tell your boyfriend to mind his own business...."
"Kalie.... Please?" My mom said
They are both begging me to stay, I don't wont to stay... I wanna get out.
"Mom, I need you to drive me to the Condo."
"I will, Karen stay here ok?" Robbert said getting up and grabbing his car keys and two of my bags. Once he was outside I have my mom the evil eye and she mouthed 'be good, I love you' I rolled my eyes and said 'love you to'
Great, im going to drive with the devil himself. I put my third bag into the car, Robbert got out of the drivers seat and opened up the passenger door for me, but I sat in the back
"Ok.." He said
"Here are the Directions"
"Oh ok, thanks mmm it's seems to be a nice neighborhood, thats where your mom and I want to move." I reached over and turned on the radio, turned it up all the way
"KALIE!"
"What?"
"Ugh," finally he shut up A ride that was supposed to be 10 minutes turned into one hour of full silence..
Once we arrived I notice Carter was here, because the same car is here in the driveway as last time

Carter's pov:

"Can't you just leave me alone!!!"
I heard a girls voice over my music
Who is that? I rushed down stairs to hear what were whispers but, now turned into yelling.
"Kalie!!! You need to respect me and your mother!"
"I'm not a child!"
"Yes you are, you aren't living with a guy you don't know!"
"Mom said it was fine!!!"
"Kalie get back in the god damn car!"
"No! This is where I live ok."
"Kalie if you don't get back in... I will drag you back home."
Ok that's my signal to get out... You don't lay your hands on women..
I walked out the front door to see Kalie in tears, and her hands hiding her beautiful face.. And a well dressed man standing over her with his hand up in the air. His red face met mine
"Who the hell are you?" He said
"I'm Kalie's roommate.."
I focused my attention on the half scared to death girl on the floor
"Kalie are you ok?"
"She is fine," "she just needed to be punished for her smart mouth."
He fucking hit her... What a Dickass..
"Was I asking how You felt.. I was asking her. Now unless you can feel everything she feels, I don't want a word coming out of your mouth."
I turned to see Kalie in shock by my words
"Kalie are you ok?" She Shook her head no
"Ok well, lets go inside I can take your bags." She got off the floor, still holding her face
"Kalie! Don't get in that house, get In The car now!" The guy said, but it was to late she was inside
"I think you better leave." I said grabbing all of her bags and walking towards the front door.. God that guy was crazy.. Who was he?
I walked in and sat her bags by the stairs... Where is she?
"Kalie?"
"Yes?" She said in a shake voice
"Are you ok?"
"..." She moaned so i will take that as a no
"May I ask what happen?" I said now facing her.. She was in her new room
She had a red cheek that would probably soon turn into a bruise
"Did he touch you?"
She nodded her head yes
"I told him I didn't want a relationship with him! I don't even know him... What if he hits my mom behind my back?"
"Ok slow down what?" I said relationship? Is she single?
"That guy.. Was my moms boyfriend, the reason why I needed to move out of my moms place... He offered to drive me here.. Because I don't drive, when we got here he ask about my roommate I said he is pretty cool.."
She said I'm pretty cool? Nah I'm the bomb, she will see that I'm not just 'cool'
"And then he flipped out, I told him to leave me alone. I told him he should go back to my slut of a mother and be marry... That's when he slapped me.. I was in shock until I heard your voice.." Damn? What type of family does she come from?
"And now I'm just praying he doesn't hit my mom.."
"Wow, we have a lot to learn about each other.." I Said
"But first lets get you an ice pack for your face." She nodded her head and followed me. I don't care if a girl just stabbed you or kicked you in the nuts.. You don't hit her. Definitely not her.
