Chapter thirty one

Mahogany pov

"Wh-what?"
It's time to break these two up.
"Ya, we went out for like two weeks, then I moved in... And four months later we a had sex. Afterwards he just said 'I'm glad that was over.' And I was all like what? 'Yup you are the first girl to give herself to me' I was shocked and frankly kinda scared because he was so forceful.... I-I would just watch your back."

Kalie pov

"Just watch your back." This is the ex he was talking about.... She isn't crazy. Doesn't seem like a monster smashing plates.... It seems to me Carter is the true monster here... I can't deal with another sex addict. But, the way carter treats me is different than the Carter mahogany is talking about. Carter... I just know there is love in this relationship. True love. I can't and won't believe her. But, what if he flips out does only want me for sex?
"I think in going go find Carter..."
"Ok, well here's my number if anything happens."
"Thanks" I walked more like speed walked out the coffee shop and ran back over to Carter
"Hey, why were you running."
"I-I just wanted to get back to you."
"Are you ok? You look nervous!" His hands touched my shoulder, his warm touch was greeting not greedy
"Ya I am, did you pick out a suit?"
"Yup and it matches your dress, I was on my way out to find you. Where's your friend?"
"Oh she had to go," I'm not telling him it was his ex
"Are you sure your ok?" I have been with Carter for almost half a year now.. I have to trust him it's a rumor right? With some true facts.. My mind is spending trying to convince myself to trust the carter I know
"I'm sorry, but this just isn't...." was all I could say before I pushed right past him.

Carter pov

She pushed right past me
"Kalie!"
Kalie walked out of the store. God she walks fast
"Kalie!!!"
"Carter leave me alone"
"What did I do Kalie." I said throwing my hands up in the air.
"It's best if I get out of this so called 'relationship' now ok? Don't make it hard for me to leave. " No no no no sh-she is my everything.... She's not leaving me.
I grabbed her arm turning her around. Her brown eyes were red and swollen.
"Kalie..."
"Don't touch me!" She was slapping my arms
"Why are you mad!?"
"I-I talked to her... She told me everything.....I'm not going to be one of your sex slaves, Carter."
"You talked to MAHOGANY!! And you BELIEVE her!" Kalie's face was filled with confusion
"Ok yes what I did to mahogany was wrong.. I should have never treated her like that. I wish I could go back in time and fix it... But then at the same time I am glad it happened..."
"Your sick!" She ran off again. I grabbed her wrist
"I didn't mean it like that. I am glad it happened because I would have never met you. Kalie you have every right to be mad and disgusted.. But just here me out. You are my everything. I love how your eyes sparkle in the moon light, how your hair always smells like melons.. I love how I can just talk and never stop talking. I can speak my mind with you. I love making you blush. I love seeing your smile, they are always contagious! Every time I kiss you, sparks fly in my stomach... Every time I touch your soft skin it reminds me how delicate you are. I look into your eyes and see.. See something new,something inspiring. I see my future with you. Believe me when I say this, I would never treat you the way I used to treat girls. I love you Kalie, I would never hurt you. That was the old me, that would pick up girls just for sex.. But you are so so different compared to the other girls.. Please don't go. I love you." She stood there just starring when a green bug pulled up right by us,
"I love-" the car honked at us
" Kalie are you ok?" This isn't happening
Mahogany is trying to freak Kalie out
"Mahogany I think you have done enough."
"I'm just trying warning the poor girl, Kalie if he hurts you just call me ok?"
"You know I would never hurt you Kalie." I looked at her
"When we get home I want you to tell me everything." She said looking at the ground then walking off.
I looked back at mahogany
"Really, get a life." I said
"I had one before I met you."
"Find someone else mahogany, you're not going to ruin me."
"We will see about that." She drove off.... How am I going to fix this with Kalie? She is scared of me. We haven't gotten into a fight ever since that brent guy.. It's been peaceful and now the devil wants to pay us a visit... How am I going to let Kalie know I love her.
