"urghhh... get off me pepper it's only 8am on a saturday morning just let me sleep," i whined as i turned around, backfacing my huge fluffy golden retriever, pepper, that was laying beside me barking and whining at me to bring it out for a morning walk.

it continued barking as it got up and walked across me to lie in front of me. it lay down on my bed and gave me it's puppy eyes, literally.
i sighed as i closed my eyes for a moment before opening it again.
"fine, fine. you win," i gave in to pepper as i got up of bed and it barked happily.
i quickly washed up and got changed into a t-shirt and fbt shorts. i grabbed my phone and pepper's leash before heading to the front door.
"c'mon peps! let's go!" i shouted to pepper while putting on my sports shoe as it ran towards me quickly.

i didn't regret coming out with pepper. the weather was exceptionally good today, it was breezy and the sun was partially covered by the clouds so it wasn't blazing hot.
pepper was walking obideiently beside me. it wasn't on leash because it was a really obedient dog, he would follow me wherever i go and wouldn't run off by itself. plus, there wasn't much people in the park.
i looked around the park, smiling slightly and the trees and flowers that were blooming. yeah, i was pretty much a nature person.
but, all of a sudden pepper started barking. i jumped a little since it's bark broke the silent atmosphere and before i knew it, pepper took off chasing something - a squirrel.
"oh my god PEPPER!!" i yelled as i chased it frantically.
pepper just continued chasing the squirrel and got further and further away from me. well i've got to say my stamina was pretty weak.
i saw the squirrel running onto the grass patch and climbing up a tree in the hurry, but pepper didn't seem to see it so it continued running forward - it was going to run into a boy that was bending down, tying his shoelaces.
"oh crap, pepper!" i yelled again as i picked up my speed. the boy seemed to have heard me or pepper's running footsteps and looked up just to see pepper running right into him, causing him to fall back on his bum.
oh shit i am so screwed.
i finally caught up with pepper who was huffing and panting in front of the boy.
"shit i'm so so sorry!! are you okay?" i quickly asked the boy.
the boy stood up and brushed the dirt off his pants before looking back at me, smiling.
