"lee euiwoong! are you listening?" mrs park's voice shouted across the classroom, waking up a tired euiwoong who was falling asleep on his desk.

"y-yes mrs park," he gulped quickly sitting up straight. he really couldn't help falling asleep in class these days, he was so busy all the time, having to juggle his responsibility as the school's head president and other commitments as he was in the school's scholarship programme as well. he was also a trainee at yuehua entertainment, but he kept quiet about it, not letting anyone in school know. he barely could get any sleep and his consistently good grades were falling tremendously.

"yah, what's wrong with you these days? you keep dozing off, you were never like this before," hyeongseob, euiwoong's seat patner whispered to him.

"uh, it's just homework and stuff..." euiwoong lied, he couldn't tell hyeongseob that he was a trainee even though they were best friends.

"i told you not to accept the offer into the scholarship programme, you're already the head president, you seriously think you have nine hands?" hyeongseob told euiwoog for the upteenth tume.

"i'm really okay, i can handle it," euiwoong assured hyeongseob and he just sighed in defeat.

the class ended and euiwoong was preparing to head to the washroom to wash up. as he was about to enter the washroom, he felt a hand lightly taping his shoulder, making him turn around abruptly.

"uhm excuse me, do you know which class is class 4?" an unfamiliar girl asked him. euiwoong have never seen her before, she's probably new, he thought.

"it's just straight ahead," he smiled at her pointing to the direction of class 4, which was the class beside his.

"oh thanks!" she flashed me a wide smile.

"welcome," he replied. the girl turned around and was about to walk away.

"uhm wait!" he called out to her. and she turned back humming a "hm?"

"your tie is tied wrongly," i told her. her tie was hanging low on her neck and was not tucked into her blazer, which wasn't how she supposed to wear in.

"oh... sorry i'm new here so i don't really know how to -" before she could finish, euiwoong took a step closer to her and pulled her tie, pulling it up a little before tucking it securely into her blazer.

the girl's eyes widened as she lifted up her head watching the random boy carefully helping her tie her tie.

their faces were so close to each other and lura could feel her legs go weak at their close proximity.

"i'm lee euiwoong, how about you?" he asked, stepping back after helping the girl do her tie.

"thanks... and i'm min lura," the girl smiled as she awkwardly pushed the strands of her hair behind her ear.

"oh, no problem, i'll see you around in school then lura," he smiled and turned around, heading off to the washroom.

it was lunch break and students quickly rushed out of class, trying to buy their food before the queue forms.

lura headed out of her new class, following the rest of the crowd to the cafeteria. she was a new transfer student and she wasn't very social and was pretty shy. as someone who was more of an introvert, she was honestly freaked out at how the guy, euiwoong, helped her tie her tie earlier on. that euiwoong guy was honestly the most attractive guy she had ever met, his facial features were amazing up close and how he helped her tie her tie simply made her heart race.

just as she was about to reach the cafeteria, she felt a strong arm pull her shoulder and slammed her on to hard concrete wall. she came face to face with an unfamiliar female student. the girl had heavy make up on and was honestly quite attractive, she also gave of a high and mighty queenka vibe which scares lura.

"you new girl, better know your place and not flirt around with my guy," she hissed before sending a punch to lura's stomach.

lura immeidtaley fell to the ground, groaning in pain.

they started gaining attenion from the students around them but nobody stood out to help lura.

the female pulled lura up by the collar and glared at her, "lee euiwoong, is mine. you better not touch him or you're ruined."

"i... didn't... do...anything..." luna leaned her head onto the wall in pain as hot tears formed in her eyes.

"don't be such an ignorant bitch, i saw euiwoong getting close to you this morning, and you're just a transfer student!" she snarled before forcefully pushing lura down onto the ground.

"YAH YOO MINA STOP IT," a loud voice shouted through the crowd as euiwoong pushed his way through the crowds of students, pushing mina and her minions away and crouching down to examine lura.

"lura! min lura gwenchana?" he asked, concerned. lura clenched her stomach and winced in pain. euiwoong quickly picked up lura in bridal-style, shouting "make way!" as he quickly rushed lura to the medical office.

"lura ah? gwenchana?" euiwoong asked in concern as the nurse left the room.

"i'm sorry, it's all my fault. we barely know each other and you got beaten up by that yoo mina because of me, i'm so so sorry," he quickly apologised.

"i'm fine, thanks for sending me here and don't be sorry, it's not entirely your fault," she replied.

"you must've been scared, it's your first day here and..." euiwoong ran a hand through his hair.

"i'm not as weak as you think i am," lura flashed euiwoong a smile.

"but yeah i was kinda freaked out. it's my first day and it seems like i already offended someone," she sighed.

"don't worry, i'll protect you, i'll make sure mina won't hurt you again," he interlocked his hands with lura. his actions shocked lura as lura felt her cheeks blush furiously. she barely knew euiwoong but he managed to make her heart race like crazy.
