"kwon hyunbin why can't you get it right?" the dance trainer sighed. hyunbin hung his head low, beads of sweat trickling down his forehead as he bit down on his lip.

"how are you even going to participate in the upcoming performance like this?" the dance trainer questioned hyunbin again.

hyunbin was one of the new student in seoul's largest dance academy, however he lacked in skills and always couldn't get the dance moves right. plus his team was preparing for an upcoming dance performance but their whole team was behind because of him.

"i'm sorry teacher, i would practice harder," he crossed his hands behind his back and apologised.

"you better, or you're whole team would be dragged down all because of you," the trainer harshly told hyunbin before leaving the practice room.

hyunbin's hand clenched into a fist as he let out a deep sigh.

"hyunbinnie, you can do this," his team mates cheered him on but all he could do was force out a smile. he knew they were just trying to be nice, he knew he was a burden to his group and they would be better off without him.

"i shouldn't have joined the dance academy, you guys are better off without me," he confessed.

"yah don't say that kwon hyunbin!" patricia, one of his team mates and also hyunbin's closest friend in the team, stepped out.

hyunbin turned around, back-facing his team mates as tears brimmed in his eyes.

"can you guys go practice in the other pratice room and give hyunbin some quiet time?" patricia whispered to her team mates and they quietly left the room.

patricia walked over to hyunbin who was sitting on the ground, his hesd still low.

"mm hyunbinnie?" she said in a soft voice as she sat down beside hyunbin. but he didn't respond.

"yah pabo a real man doesn't cry," patricia put her hands on hyunbin's shoulder.

"i'm useless. i can't get any moves right, i'm horrible at dancing," he lifted up his head but avoided eye contact with patricia.

"i'm warning you kwon hyunbin don't ever say that again! or i'll get angry," patricia chided him.

in a split second hyunbin scooted closer to patricia and wrapped his arms tightly around her, placing his chin on her head, tears trickling down his pale face.

patricia was shocked as her body stiffened in hyunbin's embrace. she slowly opened her arms and hugged hyunbin back, petting his back slowly.

he pulled away after a while and patricia lifted her hands, wiping off hyunbin's tears.

"it's so embarrassing, having you see me like that," he sniffled.

patricia ruffled his hair as she flashed hyunbin a smile.

"c'mon, let's practice," she grabbed hyunbin's hand and pulled him up.

hyunbin smiled at her as he pulled patricia into him again, this time hugging her even tighter.

"yahhhhh kwon hyunbin!! let me go!!" patricia squealed as she giggled, trying to get out of hyunbin's embrace.

"nope," hyunbin chuckled as he leaned patrcia against the wall.

"don't even think about it," she placed her fingers on hyunbin's lips but she couldn't hide the growing smile plastered on her face.

"hmm?" hyunbin smirked as he leaned in closer to patricia, causing her to squeal.

"okay okay wait!" she squirmed, tugging onto hyunbin's shirt as his tall figure hovered above her.

"i want you to tell me that you are not useless and you are a talented dancer," she said.

"i'm not useless and i'm a talented dancer who will work very very hard so that patrcia will be very very proud of me and love me very very much," he chuckled.

"i'm already very proud of you kwon hyunbin," patricia smiled widely as she tip-toed and pecked hyunbin on his lips.
