one last punch was sent to youjin's stomach as she clenched her stomach, groaning in extreme pain.

"loser." rena smirked as she stepped over youjin's small figure, her minions following behind.

she walked over to her boyfriend, lai guan lin, the school's most popular bad boy and kissed him right there on his lips.

"baby i've taught her a lesson," rena turned back and scoffed at youjin as she interlocked hands with guan lin, smiling proudly at her boyfriend.

guan lin just pushed rena away from him as he sent youjin a concerned look.

he never felt like that before. since they entered high school, guan lin has been picking on park youjin for no apparent reason. he just felt like doing so. youjin was those typical quiet nerd who doesn't really give any shit to anyone around her, that's including guan lin.

guan lin, as the school playboy, had tried to hook her up. but he was pissed when youjin ignored him and decided to bully her just to get her attention.

he never had to do anything to get anyone's attention before. he always fall into the spotlight is always the center of attention.

but youjin keeps catching his eyes. he would always try to talk to her but she'll walk away. he always thought youjin was just going to be one of his toys but he just couldn't get her out of his mind these days.

"hey baby?" a voice snapped guan lin out of his daydream.

"uh yeah?" he replied.

"were you listening to me?" rena pouted.

"yeah." guan lin lied. these days, he couldn't feel his heart racing for rena anymore, he honestly felt disgusted everytime rena tries to get close to him. and he doesn't know why.

just as rena was about to open her mouth to say something, guan lin saw youjin slowly getting up at struggling to make her away out of the crowd around her from the corner of his eyes.

"oh i remebered i've to go find a teacher for something," guan lin interrupted rena as she frowned.

"for wh-" before rena could finish her question, guan lin muttered a quick bye before pulling his hand away from rena and quickly followed behind youjin, pretending to be finding his teacher.

he kept a safe distance away from youjin so nobody would notice anything. he followed youjin to a deserted corridor and found her going into the handicapped toilet at the end of the corridor.

as guan lin hesitated whether or not to check how she was and he unknowingly found himself standing in front of the toilet door. he stuck his ears to the door and could hear muffled sobs.

he saw that the lock beside the handle of the door was green, meaning youjin didn't lock the door, so he took a deep breath as he pushed open the door slowly to see a small figure sitting on the floor, her hesd burried into her knees and her arms wrapping her legs tightly.

she lifted up her head quickly in shock when she heard the door open and gasped when she saw guan lin. she immediately backed against the wall, looking away from him.

guan lin swallowed his saliva as he walked towards the timid girl who was manoeuvring her body as far away from guan lin as possible.

"what do you want, have your girlfriend not beaten me up enough?" she tried to contain her tears as she continued staring at the ground.
