"will you accept him?" sungwoon asked while we were walking home together.

"i dont know!!" i pouted.

"i can't belive jimin confessed to you..." sungwoon replied softly.

jimin was literally the most popular guy in our high school, he was in my class and he had both juniors and seniors fangirling over him. and oh my god, on this fateful day, he confessed to me. right in front of the whole class. there were some students who were fangirling over how cute he was while there were others who were fuming mad. i was at a loss when he confessed, so i told him to give me some time.

sungwoon, who was my best friend since we were neighbours, was in the level above me and he immediately bombarded me with questions as soon as i met him, i couldn't believe rumours about jimin comfessing to me had spreaded so quickly. i swear i was going to get murdered by his fangirls in no time.

"gosh just don't accept him alright?" sungwoon says with a sigh.

"yah! for once in my entire life i received a confession! why are you so negative about it?" i asked sungwoon as i linked arms with him.

sungwoon sighed again.

"because why would he confess to you? he has a motive hanuel," sungwoon says causing me to shove him away from me.

"so you're saying i'm not good enough for him?" i gave him an over exegerated glare.

"it's not that!! he is not good enough for you!" sungwoon quickly replies.

"look at what a player he is, he is bound to break your heart if you go out with him, i just don't want you to get hurt!" he added on.

i slowly turned to look at him.

"okay okay i won't go out with jimin okay? even if i really like him but you oppose it i would never go out with him," i gave sungwoon a small smile. i could tell he was genuinely concerned about me, and i was grateful to have him by my side.

"that's what you said! so you can never start dating without my permission, deal?" sungwoon says as he wrapped his arms around my shoulder.

"deal!!! and you can't date without my permission too," and we both chuckled.

"oh my god," sungwoon suddenly says as someone caught his gaze from afar. i lifted my head and followed his gaze to see jimin standing outside of my house gate. 

"oh my god," i repeated as i quickly turned to look at sungwoon.

"what do i do?" i asked him.

"don't worry, i'll help get you out of this, i won't let anybody hurt my girl," he winked and i rolled my eyes playfully.

he moved his hand which was around my shoulders down my back quickly and then interlocked his hands with mine before pulling me towards my house gate, which was where jimin was.

"oh hanuel!" jimin says as soon as he saw us. then, his gaze travelled down to my hands which was interlocked with sungwoon's.

"oh hey, sungwoon, can talk to hanuel for a bit?" he asked.

i felt sungwoon's grip on my hand tightened.

"do you wanna talk to him?" sungwoon turned to ask me. i glanced up at jimin quickly before shaking my head slightly.
