Joven

Joven's POV
I was with Smosh Games and we were walking downtown to get lunch.

"Joven, is it possible for you to win a game?" Sohinki asked.

"Yes! I have won a bunch of games."

"Like what Joven. Tell us." Flitz said crossing his long arms.

"The crazy long Game Bang and umm umm the umm..." I actually couldn't think of anything. Was I really that much of a loser?

"And there you have it. Joven can't win anything." Mari laughed.

"Shut up!" I yelled laughing. I accidentally ran into someone and she dropped her phone.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry. Here." I picked up her phone and gave it back to her. It was badly cracked. I felt so bad.

"I'm really sorry. I'll get you a new one."

"No, it's fine. Hey, aren't you Joven from umm Smosh Games?"

"Yes I am and after we eat lunch, you're coming with me to the Apple Store." She nodded and looked behind me. She covered her mouth and her eyes widened. I looked back and saw the rest of the crew. She started crying a little bit. Oh no.

"Hey, what's wrong? I know Joven's ugly but I didn't know that he was that bad." Sohinki said laughing. She laughed and wiped her eyes.

"I'm sorry guys. I'm just- you guys pretty much got me through the toughest time of my life. I love you guys so much." She kept wiping her eyes. We all had a group hug with her.

"Guys I'm sorry but there's homemade ice cream in here and I have to have some." Wes ran into the cafe. We laughed and followed behind.

"So what's your name?" I asked her. She was beautiful. I always get rejected because I'm not attractive, but I might have a chance with her.

"Oh my name's Y/n." She answered with a shrug. Flitz covered his mouth and hugged her. What the hell?

"Y/n I remember you. I saw you at a meet and greet one time. Are you doing better? Remember what I told you." Flitz held her shoulders kind of squatting down because she was a little short. That's when I remembered...


Y/n's POV

Flitz was holding my shoulders looking into my eyes. I had a flashback when it happened.

I was at an expo and was on my way to the Smosh Games meet and greet. I loved them so much. They were the only people that made me happy. Everyone else in my life just hated me. I was never "good enough" for my parents and I always disappointed my family. My friends bullied me and I got beat up a lot in high school. Only Smosh made me happy in my life. I started cutting when I was 18. My thighs and my arms. I always wore pants and long-sleeved shirts until that day went I went to see them. I got in line and got my Polaroid ready. There were three people ahead of me, but the line was moving pretty quick. I walked up in the line to where I was next. Joven looked at me and smiled.

"Next." Said the guy. I walked up and hugged them. I was wearing leggings and a food battle hoodie.

"What's your name?" Wes asked.

"Y/n. I'm so happy to meet you guys!"

"Well, we're always happy to meet fans!" Flitz smiled. We took a few pictures and I got some signatures. I was on my way out until Flitz grabbed my wrist. He pulled me aside and I noticed what was going on. My hoodie sleeve came up and a few cuts were showing. Shit.

"It's really not my business and there's no reason for me to invade on your privacy, but can I ask why you're doing this?" He asked. Wes came over too and they paused the meet and greet. I felt my face start to burn. A sign of a breakdown. A few tears came down as I nodded.

"My f-family hates m-me and I-I am j-just a d-dissap-pointment to everyone I-I know. My f-fr-friends turned on m-me and b-beat me." I started crying and crying. Great going Y/n! Crying in front of your idols. Wes gave me a long hug along with Flitz and the gang. They pulled away and Joven came up to me. He looked straight into my eyes.

"Pinky promise me you'll stop cutting." He held up his pinky finger and I intertwined it with mine. He hugged me again and I left. It was the best day of my life. Smosh Games helped me to stop my self-harm and I've been great ever since. I've become a success on YouTube with 2 million subscribers, but my family still hates me. 

END FLASHBACK
I ordered my food and ate the whole meal... which I hadn't done in about a week. Ever since my boyfriend left me for his YouTube channel, I've only been eating an apple and a bag of chips every day. It felt good to eat again.

 
"So Rebecca, what kind of phone would you like?" Joven asked. I really didn't want someone spending money on me.

"I told you Joven it's fine."

"iPhone six it is then!" I laughed. He wasn't going down without a fight. He won. After lunch, he bought me the phone and helped me set it up. Joven was my favorite in Smosh because I made a life-changing promise to him. A lot of people think that he's not very attractive... he's kinda cute in my opinion.

"Hey wanna come back to the Smosh office and hang out?" He asked with his crooked smile. His teeth were a lot whiter than they were on video.

"Sure. I have nothing else to do." I shrugged. I walked with them to the building and went inside with them.

"Wow. This place is awesome! Can we hang out in the Game Bang room?" I asked.

"Sure! Let's go." Joven walked us to the room and I plopped down on the bean bag. Joven sat beside me and watched me play my game. It was kinda cute.

"Have I told you how pretty you are?" He whispered. I blushed and shook my head. "You're also cute when you're shy. I hope we can hang out more." Ok, I was trying my best not to fan girl. I nodded my head like a maniac and kissed him on the cheek.

 
"I would love to."
