Anthony's POV

I was finally working with Smosh again. I'd been back for about a month when Y/n and I met. She was a beautiful and talented woman. Ian and I hired her for her background in design and directing. Our merchandise designer quit months ago and we needed a second director for the gaming channel. She was the perfect choice. Plus, she was absolutely breathtaking. I'd never seen a woman as attractive as she was and immediately became desperate to get to know her better.

Recently, we've been working on a new series of Board AF videos where our cast plays different characters while playing games. She planned on directing them, which basically meant that she was going to be too busy to do anything for the next few weeks. I wanted to ask her out, maybe go somewhere together after work, but she's an overachiever when it comes to her job. Anyone at the office would tell you that she is the hardest-working person there. Kind of stresses me out to see her working all of the time.

"Hey, Y/n wants to see you. She asked if you could stop by her office." Courtney tapped her nails on my office door. I glanced at my watch. It was almost lunchtime.

"Alright, thanks for letting me know." Courtney shot me a thumbs-up and walked away. Of course, she wanted to see me at lunch. That poor girl was always working no matter what.

I got up and made my way over to her office. Like I thought, she was at her desk in her dimly lit room, clicking away at her computer. Her glasses looked as if they were about to fall off of her nose and her hair was tied up with plenty of flyaways.

"Courtney said you needed to see me?" I leaned against her office's doorframe. When her head popped up, she looked like a librarian. It made me chuckle.

"Yes! Please sit down. I just wanted you to take a look at some of the designs I've been sketching for an updated merch drop." She pushed her glasses up on her nose and scrambled to gather some papers together. She handed me a messy stack of papers. All of them were colored and messily lined.

"These are great! Do you want me to go ahead and present them to our printing and sales team?"

"Oh, no. Not at all. They're not even close to being done. I just wanted the go-ahead on the designs. Now that I've got that, I'm gonna perfect them on my iPad. Thanks, Anthony!" She stood back up, leaning over her desk to grab the papers back. I held them away from her.

"No."

She pulled her hand back. "What?"

"I said no. I'm going to hold on to these and you're going to come to lunch with me. You need a break." I stood up.

"You're being ridiculous. I'm perfectly fine. Please, give me my sketches." She sat back down and crossed her arms.

"I will." I walked out of her office. "Once you take a break and come to lunch with me!" I jogged back to my desk, shoving the sketches in a drawer where she wouldn't find them. I decided to sit down and wait for her to come see me. I knew the type of person she was. Very spiteful. She would come to see me, go to lunch with me, passively aggressively make snide comments the whole time, then be perfectly fine once I returned her precious work.

About five minutes passed before I sensed someone standing at my doorway. There she was, defeated and annoyed like I thought.

"Where are we going for lunch?" She groaned.

"Why don't you pick? I am kidnapping you, after all," I joked.

"Let's go somewhere close to the office. I don't want to get stuck in traffic and be late getting back." She started picking at her nails. I rolled my eyes.
