-Boarding house-

Elena decided that if they were going to talk about this than they should do it privately, somewhere no one would hear.
The boarding house was the chosen location. Lydia was mesmerized just looking at the outside as Elena's car pulled up in the driveway.  Walking inside Lydia couldn't help but geek out a bit, in her head of course.
She may be a know for her brains in math and science, and it wasn't a secret to her friends anymore that she likes to read, what she was sure no one knew was how much she loved history.

Reading up on all the information about vampires stiles had sent her kept her up for hours, she didn't read all of it word for word because she felt the need to to be safe, she did because it was interesting, she liked reading it, in fact she would've read more if she hadn't fallen asleep when she did.
Everything was discussed as the girls and Damon sat in the living room. Lydia told them everything about what happened in Beacon hills, leaving out the part where peter attacked her as it wasn't a fond memory of hers, she only spoke a little about her dad but everyone understood it was still a touchy subject so they dropped it.
The rest of her friends and Damon told them everything that had been going on here. From finding out about the supernatural, being turned, and even about the problems now.
Alaric had a crazy alter ego that had been killing members of the council, Stefan had returned back, hiding the rest of the original family somewhere no one could find, somewhere where even magic couldn't reach.

Lydia watched when Elena started speaking how focused Damon was on the words coming from her mouth. Lydia could see it a mile away, he liked her. A lot actually. She liked him back. Maybe not to the same extent as he did for her but there was something there.
Lydia watched as they'd get lost in each others eyes, Elena looking away quickly, guilty almost.  Lydia remembered that she was still with Stefan. Damon and Stefan were brothers. Elena had the hots for both brothers. Lydia didn't know who Stefan was personally but she kind of felt bad for him, it was obvious there was something going on between his girlfriend and his brother.  Seeing as how he is said to be a little unstable at the moment, this probably won't help.

"So Lydia, you're a banshee?" Damon asked again as if the first four times she told him he had misheard.  Lydia smiled and nodded again.
"I know a banshee is like a warning of death but what exactly do you do? How do you know someone is about to die?" Bonnie asked not quite clear on what a banshee really is, she's never met one so she was very interested.
None of them had met a banshee so they all leaned in when Bonnie asked the question, eager to know the answer.

"It's kind of a lot to take in but I'll try to explain it so you understand.." Lydia started while sitting up straighter.  Everyone giving her their full attention, even Damon was interested in what the strawberry blonde had to say.
