Natalia smiled softly to herself as she read the text message Anthony had sent her seconds before.

From: Rizzo 💙⚾️
I'm picking you up for Fam Day. See you soon beautiful 😘

Natalia had never truly had a relationship with someone who had done small things for her. Anthony had been there for her for the last few weeks, and had been her shoulder to cry on (literally). Chase had never been that for her. He had never been there just to talk, instead making up for it by giving her expensive gifts.

But Anthony was different to Natalia and she wouldn't have if any other way.

She looked down as her phone buzzed in her hands.

Ky and I are about to leave. Do you want a ride to the apartment?

To: Dri 👸🏻💜
All good, fam. Anthony's taking me.

From: Dri 👸🏻💜
😏 I expect a full report when we get to the apartment ☕️🐸

Laughing to herself, Natalia locked her phone and walked into the bathroom to check her appearance. Her long blonde hair was in its natural state and her makeup was kept minimal.

"Perfect," she muttered as she turned off the light and walked out of the bathroom.

Walking out of her building, Natalia smiled as she made her way to Anthony's car. He quickly leaned over to open it for her and she sent him a grateful smile as she got in. Natalia leaned in to peck his lips, but ended up kissing his cheek when he turned his face.

"Hey," she trailed with raised brows.

"Hey," he said back as he started driving.

Natalia turned to look out the window as she pondered what she had possibly done in the few hours since they had landed in Chicago.

We literally just saw each other and he grabbed my bag. He was being all playful and stuff. What happened, Natalia thought to herself as she looked back at him before quickly turning to face the window again.

Finally having enough, she bravely asked, "Did I do something wrong?"

Anthony tore his eyes off the road for a split second as he glanced at Natalia and shook his head. "No," he breathed out. "It's fine. We're fine."

"Then what is it," Natalia egged on. "You're never this quiet."

Anthony let out a sigh as he said, "I have a lot on my mind."

Natalia sighed as she glanced back at him before looking out the window again. "Do you remember what I told you the night you asked me out?"

"That you're not the kind of girl to settle," Anthony asked in a confused tone.
