Charlie's POV:
"Hello?" I hear Harvey's voice from inside the apartment. I don't bother to answer, I just sink down on the doormat, leaning my back heavily against the door. First now I realize how exhausted I am from all the running. My breath is fast and short and my heart is pounding harshly in my chest.

I can smell food from the kitchen and just when I look up, I see Harvey coming out of the fragrant room, followed by the scent. Our eyes meet as he looks down confused at me.
The pulling in the door handle has stopped and the kicks on the door falls silent. I let out the breath I didn't realize I was holding and open my mouth to say something, just when Harvey interrupts me.
"What are you doing here?" He asks frowning. It takes a moment for me to process what just happened and I have to think extra long before I can form any words at all.
"Mike is a pretty dangerous dude." Is all I can manage to say. Harvey just frowns even more and shakes his head.

"And you're a really weird dude." He answers, throwing up a small towel over his shoulder. I thought that Mike had left, but then I suddenly hear his voice again on the other side of the door.
"Fine, then I'll go after your little teenage boy then."
Then there were quick footsteps in the stairs, running downstairs. Harvey raises an eyebrow at me.
"I'll explain later. Can I borrow your phone?" I ask.
"Was that Mike?" Harvey asks back without moving.

I sigh and stand up slowly, brushing off some dirt of my clothes.
"Yes. Can I borrow your damn phone now?" I reply, sounding pretty rude, but I have my reasons. I really need to warn Leo in case Mike goes there. I wish I could just go home to my apartment, but I don't know if Mike actually told the truth or if he's like waiting outside. I'm not sure if I'll ever dare to go out on the street alone again, or even go to my friend's party.
"Fine, calm down." Harvey answers frowning, pulling up his phone from his pocket. He gives it to me before turning around and walking back into the kitchen, mumbling something to himself.

I dial Leo's phone number and call it. Some signals go past and I'm hoping that he will answer. I hear a weird noise before I finally hear his familiar voice.
"Charlie? Where are you? Are you okay? I have been trying to ca-" Leo starts to almost shout the second he picks up the call. He sounds really nervous and I realize that he had probably sent more texts and calls than I had noticed. But maybe it was good that I hadn't noticed since I was drunk?
"Calm down, I'm okay. I'm at Harvey's right now. But listen to me-" I start, but he interrupts me.

"Why didn't you answer my calls? I was worried si-" Leo says hysterically.
"Leo, listen to me." I interrupt and he finally stops talking. "Go and lock the door."

He doesn't say anything for a few seconds. I can picture the big frown on his forehead right now.

"What?" He asks confused after taking in what I said.

"Just do it."
"Charlie, what's going on?"
I'm starting to lose my patience, why can't he just do as I tell him?

"Just go and lock the goddamn door, Leo!" I say a bit irritated. I don't want to be mad at him, 'cause I have no right to, I just don't want Mike to get into the apartment. Because no one knows what he is capable to do, and I really don't want him to hurt Leo, I'm so good at that myself...

I hear some footsteps on the other side of the phone and then I hear the sound of a lock.
"Done." Leo tells me and I immediately feel relieved.
"Thank god." I breathe and try to calm myself down.

"Seriously, what's going-" Leo tries again, but I cut him off.

"I'll explain later. Just stay inside and don't let anybody in, okay?"
"But-"
"Please, Leo. Just listen to me."

"Fine." He sighs eventually.
"I've gotta go now, I'm calling you later."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye."

I end the phone call and take a deep breath before walking across the hall to the kitchen.

"Want some food?" Harvey asks just before I reach the room. I lean against the doorway and nervously look over to him.
"No, thanks. I just... really need to talk." I say and he turns back around to me. He shrugs his shoulders and nod at one of the chairs around the dining table.
"Sure, sit down."

I slowly drag it out from the table and sit down, biting my lip. I start to stressfully tap my foot against the floor. Harvey notices and frowns slightly, before walking back up to the stove. He doesn't say anything, neither do I. I'm stuck in my thoughts. They won't leave my mind. But I snap out of them with a jolt when Harvey suddenly shouts "Mia! Food!".
"Scared lately?" He asks, giggling at my reaction. But the laugh quickly falls silent when his eyes reach me. I start biting my lip again. Harvey places the food on the table, before putting out two plates, two glasses and two pair of cutlery. He then sits down in front of me and gives me a worried look. "Are you okay?"

I look down at the table. I try to desperately blink away my tears, but there's no way I can stop them from falling. Harvey keeps staring at me and I shake my head rapidly. That's when the first drops of salty water escapes my eyes and I look up to face Harvey.

"I didn't know that Charlie would be here." I suddenly hear Mia's voice behind me as she walks into the kitchen. I quickly wipe my tears away and stop myself from letting out a sob.

"I didn't know either." Harvey replies as she drags out the chair beside him.

I lie my head down on the table in front of me, with my face downwards, embracing it with my arms. I feel Harvey's gaze burn in my neck, but I don't want to look up.
"Charlie, what happened?" He suddenly asks softly and I let out a small sniff. That's when I hear a chair being dragged over the floor and someone is standing up. Just seconds after, I feel Harvey's arms around me in a comforting hug. That's when I let the tears out.

Harvey sits down on the chair beside me and starts stroking my back. I soak down my sleeve with tears, 'cause I won't lift my head up. I'm a mess.

Leondre's POV:
After that strange call with Charlie, I locked the door and checked so that all the windows were closed. I still really want to know what the hell is going on though. I hate being the one who has less knowledge than the other one.

After I got home from the store, I put on some make-up to cover the most of the bruises, and then I've just been sitting on the couch the rest of the day, watching anime. Exciting life, you know.

Suddenly I hear the doorbell echo through the apartment and I immediately pause the episode I'm watching. I put my computer on the little table in front of the couch and slowly sneak up to the front door.

"Who is it?" I yell so that the person on the other side of the door can hear me.
"It's me, Charlie." The person answers. I quickly put my hand on the lock to unlock the door, but then I remember that I promised Charlie not to let anyone into the apartment. What if it isn't Charlie? It sounds like him though, but what if it's someone else who's pretending to be him? Ugh, why couldn't Charlie just tell me what was going on?

"How do I know?" I ask, trying to sound confident and fail miserably.
"Oh, come on, Leo. Just let me in." The voice answers. I decide to unlock the door and if it's not Charlie then I'll just prepare to be brutally murdered in my own home.
I put my hand on the door handle and slowly unlock the door. The person on the other side opens it and I see the face that belongs to...
