Charlie's POV:
Currently me and Leo are sitting in my car. The others are still inside the house, but I felt like we needed to talk. neither of us has said anything yet. We are just sitting there in silence.

"I'm so sorry, Leo..." I say slowly. I don't know what else to do than apologize. He looks at me, giving me a sad look, before turning his head forward again, looking out of the big car window. Then there's silence again.
"Can you please talk to me?" I ask carefully, growing impatient. Leo lets out a sad sigh.
"I don't know, Charlie. I just-" He starts, without looking at me. I scan over him with my eyes, trying to tell what he's thinking and feeling. Slowly he tilts his head and meet my gaze. I look straight into his chocolate brown eyes, and once I've looked into them, I can't look away. Then he continues. "Wanna know why I hit Mike at my birthday party? Because he told Harvey he was in love with you. I was drunk and jealous, I mean, what the fuck would I do? I saw the way he looked at you when we danced and how he got closer for every minute that passed. He was planning on telling you, but Harvey stopped him. I was afraid I would lose you because of him... Which I did anyway... I've wanted to tell you this ever since the day after the party, but Harvey wouldn't let me. He had promised Mike to keep it a secret, and he thought it would be better that you would think that I was an abusive freak than to break his promise to Mike. Then I attacked you and I can't say that it was an accident, but I didn't want to hurt you either. I just wanted to get free so that I could beat the living shit out of him. It wouldn't have mattered whoever held me still, I would still hit the person in a try to break free."

I just look at him with wide eyes. It is a lot to take in, but it's not that I don't believe him, it's just that I really wasn't expecting this.
"Wait, so Mike is in love... with me?" I ask a bit confused. Leo nods. "Can you promise me one thing? The next time Harvey tries to get you to hide something from me, please tell me anyway?"
"I promise." He smiles and I smile back. Then he continues.
"And those things I yelled at you when I was drunk.... I didn't mean any of it, I promise. And I'm just so happy that you didn't leave me right there and then." He finishes and I get tears in my eyes.

Leo looks away, but then looks back at me again and opens his mouth. It seems like he is about to talk, but nothing comes out. I try to take in everything he said and then I'm about to answer, but he stops me by pressing his soft lips against mine. I get pretty shocked because I wasn't expecting that either. When I finally realize what happens, I kiss back, passionately.
He places his hand on my neck, deepening the kiss and pulling me closer. I don't ever wanna pull away. I wanna stay like this forever. But eventually we have to. We pull away and try desperately to catch our breaths.

Leo leans back in his seat again.
"Sorry, I just have missed that so goddamn much." He says slowly, a grin appearing on his lips. I look at him, smiling.
"No need to apologize. I was going to ask if you still love me, but I guess that's a yes?" I reply and he nods rapidly.
"Yes, absolutely fucking yes." He smiles at me and I smile back widely.

If someone had told me half an hour ago that half an hour later me and Leo would sit in my car kissing, I wouldn't believe them. Because I knew that Leo would be dead five minutes later. But I was wrong and God, I'm so fucking happy that I was wrong.
Suddenly I pull Leo into a tight hug. He gasps at how hard I'm squeezing him, but then he starts to giggle. Oh God, I've missed his giggle so much!
"I've missed you so much! Please don't ever leave me again. I love you so fucking much, Leo, do never ever, ever forget that." I say into his neck, feeling a few tears escape my eyes.
"I love you too, Charlie. Believe it or not, but I do." Leo smiles, kissing the top of my head. When we pull away, he crawls out of his seat and over to my lap. He sits down, straddling my hips. I feel like I have to explain some things for him, so that's what I do.

"Leondre." I start and he immediately understands that it's something serious since I barely use his full name any more. He looks at me with questioning eyes. "Look, about that night when I cheated on you... I didn't do it on purpose, I was drunk, which is one of the main reasons why I didn't answer your texts. I know that it isn't much to my defense, but I didn't want any of that to happen. I don't remember any of it, just that I woke up in Mike's bed the next morning. I tried to get out of there, but Mike stopped me several times. So eventually I hit him and ran out of his house wearing my boxers only... So I got dressed on the street, running all the way to Harvey's apartment and that's why I called you and asked you to lock the door and stuff. Because he had followed me all the way there and he told me that he would go after you instead and-" I explain quickly, the words flooding out of my mouth. But Leo interrupts me by pressing his lips against mine, trying to calm me down. And even though I want to kiss back, I pull away.
"I've already forgiven you for all that." Leo smiles warmly.
"I know, but I really need to get this off my chest. Please, just listen, okay?" I ask and Leo seems to understand and nods. So I continue.

"He told me he would go after you, which I hope he hasn't?" I ask, looking into his eyes, making sure he isn't lying. He shakes his head and I immediately feel relieved.

Leondre's POV:
Charlie continues to explain.
"I stayed a few nights at my mum's place, and God, I couldn't stop crying after you left. I walked around in the same clothes, I didn't shower, I barely ate. I lied in my bed, staring up at the ceiling. Anyway, when I got home from my mum's house, Mike had gotten into my apartment somehow and stood there waiting for me. He had found your letter on the doormat and ripped it into pieces in front of my eyes. He sort of attacked me with a knife, leaving this ugly scar." He says, pulling up his shirt a bit, revealing a big white cotton plaster. He pulls at one of the corners of it, and reveal a red, thick line from where the knife was pressed against his skin. I gasp, placing a hand over my mouth as he puts the plaster in its right place again.
"I'm gonna kill that little bastard." I say, anger bubbling up inside. Charlie seems to notice it, because he pulls down his shirt again and place a hand on my shoulder.

"Calm down, I'm fine." He replies before continuing to tell me everything that happened under those days. "Anyway, Harvey and Mia came with two police officers and they took care of Mike and stuff. Then we tried to get your letter back together and succeeded after a long time of desperate trying. When we found out it was some sort of suicide letter we drove to your mum's house as fast as we could. And Victoria called us on our way there, begging us to hurry up. So when we got there, I thought you would already be dead."

Charlie starts to get tears in his eyes, so am I, and his voice starts cracking up.
"I thought that I would lose you forever and that totally broke me. I'm so glad that you're alive, you can't even imagine." Charlie ends, looking into my eyes. I smile at him, pulling him into a tight hug. "Do you still want to live with me?"

I pull away from the hug at his question. Even though I have thought so many times that I never ever want to see him again, I would love to move in with him again.
"Or do you want me to leave like I told you outside your door...?" Charlie asks worriedly, looking down at his lap.
"I want you to stay and nothing would make me happier than to move in with you again." I smile and he looks up again.
"Really?"
"Yeah." I nod.

Charlie pulls me into a hug again and lean backwards, accidentally pressing on the horn, making the car honk. It scares the living shit out of us both and I quickly lean forward again to make the noise stop. When we both realize what happened, we burst into laughter.
I wrap my arms around Charlie's neck, pulling him closer to me. I lean down, making our noses touch as we slowly stop laughing. I stare right into his eyes and presses my lips against his once again. It turns into a really passionate kiss that could lead to more than just a kiss, but we decide to keep it easy right now.
I'm so glad that everything is back to normal again.

This was a pretty weird chapter filled with emotions. I haven't read through it, but I hope it isn't too confusing.
Thanks for reading!
