Charlie's POV:
Leo starts walking out of the living room and I immediately stand up to follow him.
"Leo, what's that?" I ask, considered about the bruise.
"Why do you care?" He yells back from the bedroom. I walk into the room, seeing him gather some of his clothes from the floor.
"I said I'm sorry."
"Yeah, but that doesn't change that it happened, does it?" He snaps angrily.Leondre opens the wardrobe and gets a bag out. He starts shoving some stuff in it and I sigh as the tears roll down my cheeks.
"Oh, come on... You don't have to pack..." I tell him sadly, but he won't listen.
"But when you thought I had cheated on you, I had to move out immediately. You even packed my things for me, remember?" He shouts at me. I wipe away some tears and try to calm myself down.
"Can we at least talk about it...?" I ask, biting my lip. Leo suddenly stops and looks at me.
"You told me that you would never do this to me, Charlie." He says with tears in his eyes. His eyes are red and puffy, and his cheeks are wet from the crying.
"I know. I just- I'm so sorry." I reply, letting out a loud sob. "I promise I'll never do it again."
"That doesn't help. Plus, I don't even know if I can trust you anymore. Especially not with that." Leo answers sadly. Then he keeps packing. I can see on his face that he wants to get out of here as soon as possible.
"But can we at least talk about it?" I ask."Not now, Charles."
I can't help but smile on the inside at the use of my nickname. Leo walks past me and out of the room. He walks into the living room to grab his computer and phone. He stops to think for a second, so I take my chance to talk to him again.
"Where are you going to stay?" I ask carefully."At my mum's." Leo says and I frown.
"Your mum?"
"Yup."
"You remember that you moved in with me 'cause you didn't want to live with her since she..." I reply, but stop myself. Leo looks up at me."Yeah, I know." He answers. "But I'd rather stay there than be another second here."
Ouch, that hurt.Leo walks into the bathroom and gather some things and I just stand there watching him.
"You still haven't answered me about the bruise. Have you been in a fight?" I ask, trying to stop crying. I'm seriously worried for him."You have no right to know." He replies cockily and I'm starting to get a bit mad. I mean, I've letting him stay here for two years without paying anything. I've bought him food, clothes and kept him alive, and this is what I get.
"But I'm worried for you. Can you at least answer my question? I just wanna make sure that you're okay."
"None of your business." Leo says dryly, walking out of the bathroom.
That's when I lose it and can't control myself. I grab his arm, hard and look him angrily in the eyes.
"It's my fucking business if you get hurt!" I yell at him, shaking his arm a bit. I see how his face expression changes. First to fear and then to anger. He looks back at me, locking his gaze at my eyes.
"Leave. Me. Alone." He says and tugs his arm harshly out of my grasp. Leo looks at me one last time and then walks over to the door. He unlocks it and walks out, slamming it behind himself. Leaning me completely alone.
