I can feel her breaths getting shallower and shakier on my neck, as her body shakes more severely.
"Tris, listen to me. You are having an anxiety attack. Shhhh relax it's okay, I won't let him hurt you. Calm down, shhhhh, it's all right. You're okay, you're safe, I've got you."
I tenderly stroke her hair, trying to soothe her out of her attack.
"Breathe, just breathe. Here breathe with me. In...... Out.... In.... Out. That's better keep going. And out... Shhhhhhh It's okay. Relax, I've got you, you're safe, I promise."
I feel her heartbeat slowly decline against me and breathe a sigh of relief.
It's over, she got through it. With a shaking hand I bring hers up to my lips and smile with my eyes closed.
Tris is okay.
I open my eyes and see tears dripping from her eyes, and quickly cup her face in my hand and wipe off the tears.
Gathering her once more securely in my arms I bury my face in her hair.
"I'm sorry," She whispers
"Seeing him... Here.. I just-"
Her voice breaks and my heart does with it.
"Tris," I say softly, still fighting for her remain calm.
"It's okay, I promise I won't let him- or anyone else for that matter, ever hurt you. I've got you, you're safe. Shhhh, it's okay, it's okay, I've got you.
I will always protect you no matter what." She sets her head back on my chest and relaxes into my body.
What I don't say is that if he ever tries to comes near her again I will not hesitate to kill him on the spot.

As you could probably guess this is only the beginning of chapter twenty two. The rest will come later, and there will be some serious love triangle and action!
It will be a few days before I can update again because I am going to Chicago for Easter weekend!
