"it's nothing, just....nothing. so what's up? you clearly didn't call just to chat."
"well i was wondering if you wanted to take a trip to the fair that's happening in town but i get that you're not feeling up to it. sooo i have a different idea. if you're down of course?"
"i uh i'm.."
"just say yes. come on, what's the worst that could happen?"
"well we could get in a car crash and die a firey death or we could come in contact with an unknown shooter that has a thing for tall british boys or we could-"
"that's enough dan! i get it. jeez. i'm coming in about thirty minutes be ready."
"but i-"
"see you soon love."
the line goes dead.
