The Voto Latino filming ended and both, Demi and Wilmer, felt like their friendship was ended as well. They didn’t feel really good for that because during a few days, which they spent together, they became really close. He managed to make her forget about unhappy Joe, about problems and just have fun like every young person does.

Demi sat on the bed in her room, sighing. She just came back home and she managed to have two fights with her parents. She felt so tired of everything what was happening in her life. Sometimes she wanted to close her eyes and wake up in the other world, where problems don’t exist.

She closed her eyes and tried to sleep but her phone buzzed.  Demi groaned but picked it up anyways. Her face lightened up when she saw message, which asked her to come to the party. She didn’t even need to think: she stood up and rushed to the bathroom to take a quick shower. Then she dressed blank jeans and loose top before grabbing her purse and silently walking out of the room.

It was late evening and everyone was peacefully sleeping in their beds so it wasn’t really hard to get out of the house. She had been experienced in this thing. Demi quickly ran down the stairs and out of the house, closing the door behind herself.

“Hey Demi” Joe gave her a hug although they were fighting all day. Demi chose to forget it for now and just have fun with friends. Joe went to their friends, while she went to the bar and took a glass of shake.

The music was playing so loud and Demi was dancing like never before. She really liked dance in the clubs because she was young and she could forget everything while she was partying.

Suddenly she felt someone touch her shoulder. She flinched and turned around to look who is there.

“Wilmer?” She asked, not believing her eyes. “What are you doing here?” She gave him a hug before pulling away with a huge smile on her face.

“Well, I came here with friends. What about you? Aren’t you underage?” He joked as she rolled her eyes at him. All the time they had spent together, Wilmer joked about her being underage, and for the first time in her life, she didn’t mind about that.

“Oh, you can’t forget about it.” She giggled and looked around to see where Joe was. He promised he will dance with her but suddenly he disappeared somewhere.

“Let’s dance.” Wilmer cut off her thoughts, making Demi look back at his face. He grabbed her hand and pulled her into crowd of people.

After a ten minutes of dancing Wilmer and Demi came to the bar. They sat there as Demi ordered another mix. She looked around the club searching for Joe but there was no sign of him. Maybe he left? The barmen put Demi’s mix on the bar and Demi grabbed it and started drinking. Her eyes still searched Joe.

“Is everything alright?” Wilmer asked when he realized that Demi’s searching for someone. Demi turned to him and nodded her head although she didn’t hear what he was asking.

Suddenly, her eyes caught the guy who kissed some girl. Demi shook her head not believing that if could be Joe but she needed to be sure so she stood up and walked straight to the guy. With every step she was coming closer to them and realizing that it was Joe.

“What the fuck are you doing?” She shouted, making Joe and the girl pull away. They both turned to Demi but she wasn’t ready to listen for apologize. She slapped him hard before shouting again. “You always unhappy with what I do, so you found another bitch?”

Wilmer was still sitting at the bar when he heard Demi’s voice. Although the music was playing very loud, Demi’s screams were louder. He immediately stood up and rushed to the edge of the club where the sounds emanated.

As soon as he was there, he saw how the random guy was holding Demi from fighting with the other girl. At first he didn’t understand anything but when he looked up at the guy, standing there, he understood that it was probably that Joe, Demi’s unhappy boyfriend, and he had a red lipstick on his lips. The girl, standing behind him was with red lipstick too, so everything was clear to him.

“You can let go of her.” Wilmer told to the guy and the guy did what told. Wilmer grabbed Demi’s hand and make her look at him. “Calm down. Let’s go.”

Joe looked at them confused but Demi didn’t turn back. She took hold of Wilmer’s hand and they walked out of the club. She was so angry on Joe and she wanted to hurt him as much as he hurt her although it was impossible because he didn’t feel anything for her.

“I will take you home.” Wilmer said as they got into the car. Demi shook her head and wiped the tears, which managed to leave her eyes while they were walking, away from her cheeks.

“No, let’s go somewhere else. I don’t want to go home.” She turned to him, and gave him a small smile. “Maybe you could stop at the store? I want something to drink and cam myself down.” She added when Wilmer started driving.

“No way. You’re underage, and you’re already a little bit drunk. That’s enough for tonight.” Wilmer stated seriously, not looking at her.

“My boyfriend cheated on me, I need to calm the fuck down.” Demi shouted as the tears started running down her cheeks again. Did she really love Joe so much or she just couldn’t handle the pain inside her chest anymore?

“No, Demi. I don’t let you drink.” He didn’t give up.

“Cool, stop the car, I’m not going with you anywhere.” She unfastened the belt and looked at him. Their eyes met and suddenly Wilmer felt the pain in his chest too. Her eyes begged for someone to take that pain away and, although he wasn’t the guy who cared about the feelings this time he wanted to help.

“Okay, but just one bottle.” He gave up. Demi sighed and fastened her belt again, turning her face to the window. She smiled to herself. She felt really happy that she met Wilmer that night.

All the way they were quiet. Neither one spoke a word because both were drowned in their minds. Along the way, Wilmer stopped at the store and bought a bottle of vodka, though he still didn’t agree with the idea, but the pain in Demi’s eyes forced him to give up. He couldn’t let her suffer like that. He didn’t want to see her crying.

The car stopped in front of Wilmer’s house and they both got out of the car and walked to the house. Demi was looking around the house while Wilmer went into the kitchen to bring two glasses for them. Demi sat down on the couch in the living room, still looking around. She liked the house although she thought it was too big if he was living alone.

“Here” Wilmer placed two glasses and a bottle on the coffee table in front of Demi. She sighed and looked up to him with a small smile on her face. Wilmer sat beside her but before opening the bottle, he turned to Demi. “What about your parents? They will get worried.”

“Can you stop thinking that I’m a child? It’s not the first time when I run. I’m not a good girl like you think, Wilmer” She said and leaned back on the couch. She closed her eyes for a moment and let a deep breath out, finally calming down.

“You’re a badass.” Wilmer opened the bottle and poured into both glasses. “I would love to know more about you.” He was honestly interested in her. Not in the bad way, he just wanted to be her friend and her life interested him.

“Believe me, you don’t want to know me.” She said before grabbing the glass and drinking the whole content with one gulp.
