Time in Africa ran relentlessly fast. Finally Demi was going home. Of course, she didn’t want to leave Africa, she found peace there. The only reason why she wanted to come back was Wilmer. She couldn’t wait to see him again.
Demi arrived to her new apartment and finally managed to find the right door. She took out a key from her purse and unlocked the door. She slowly opened the door, eager to see her new home. She stepped in and grinned when she saw a huge photo of her and Wilmer hanging on the wall.
“Wilmer?” She called as she placed her bag on the floor and walked further to the apartment. She walked around the apartment with a huge smile on her face: to her the apartment was perfect. Finally, she found the kitchen.
“Welcome home,” Wilmer greeted her, smiling. She immediately rushed to him and wrapped her hands tightly around him. He hugged her back, pressing her to his body tightly. Oh, he missed her so much. Kissing on top of her head, he pulled away. “Please, madam, sit down, the dinner is almost ready,” He said, making Demi giggle.
She nodded her head and walked to the table. Sitting down, she sighed and looked at Wilmer, who was making something to eat, something what smelled really delicious. And she was sure that it was going to be very delicious because it wasn’t the first time when Wilmer made dinner.
Demi looked around the room and her smile grew bigger. The apartment was really beautiful and she really liked it. Wilmer was well aware of what she wanted. Suddenly Demi stood up and was about to walk out of the kitchen to look for her room, but Wilmer grabbed her hand, making her stop.
“Where are you going?” He asked, raising an eyebrow. “I will show you everything later, right now sit down and eat what I have cooked for you,” He said, making Demi nod her head. She walked back to the table and sat down. Wilmer put a plate full of pancakes in front of her and sat on the chair too.
“Seriously?” Demi asked, giggling. “I came back from fucking Africa and you made pancakes?” She asked still giggling. Wilmer grinned and shrugged.
“You should be happy that I made something to eat because you would be starving.” He said and looked at the pancakes, “Plus it looks really delicious.”
Demi rolled her eyes but started eating anyways. After a long flight she wanted just sleep but she couldn’t disappoint Wilmer, he made those pancakes for her and they looked really delicious.
After a few minutes of eating, Wilmer stood up and walked to the fridge. He came back to table with two redbuls. Demi couldn’t stop herself from giggling again. He really knew how to make the most perfect dinner.
“This is the best homecoming party ever, Wilmer,” She said with full mouth of pancakes.
“Oh, come on, the pancakes are really delicious, you like redbul and your best friend is with you. What more do you want?” He raised an eyebrow and Demi understood that he was really right. She had him and it was all she needed.
“You’re right.” She nodded her head with a small smile on her face, “By the way, your pancakes are really delicious.” She added and started eating again.
