Jack walked up to Rosie. He was extremely angry. She had made him run into a rock.
"What are you doing here!?" He snapped harshly in an interrogating tone.
Rosie was starting to get used to the group until Jack started talking. She took slow, deep breaths.
Jack got close to her face. "If you don't start talking, I'll start breaking your bones until you do." He threatened coldly and backed away.
"Jack! Calm down." Skylar snapped.
Maxon gently pushed him away to keep him from hurting her. They all knew Jack would have no problem hurting or killing her.
Skylar sat in front of her. "How did you get those wounds?" She asked softly. She wasn't used to speaking this nicely, but she knew she would have to if she wanted information.
Rosie eyed Jack, who right now, was being held by Maxon. He wasn't holding him very tightly, but he knew Jack wouldn't try to go anywhere. He just held him there, just in case.
"I was running from my parents." She said a little more confidently now. "Then I was shot by a guard."
Skylar was surprised. "The guard shot you five times?"
"No, my mother shot me four times, then I got hit by the guard."
"I'm so sorry." She said. She figured it would be best not to ask anymore questions about that.
"Why did you smash him into a rock?" She asked, pointing at Jack, who was glaring coldly at Rosie.
"He was about to attack me." She answered.
"So how did you do it anyway? Jack is usually not one to be easily outsmarted."
