All Alone

Chapter 27

            Once Jack and Bella got back, Thomas walked up to her and asked.

          "Ya." Bella said. "You didn't know the king is his dad?" She said it as if it was a fact that was common sense.

         "Uh, no." Everyone said.

         "Oh. Well, now you do." She said.

          Rosie walked over. "I finished with Maxon. I think he will be alright, but I'm not sure." She said.

         Bella gave a sigh of releif.

       "How's Skylar coming?" Rosie asked as she turned to Mia.

        "Not to well." She replied. "She was beat up pretty bad.

        "We have been trying to wake her up so she could heal herself, but so far, she hasn't moved." Thomas added.

        "Lets at least stop the bleeding." Jack said.

         They all picked a wound, grabbed a cloth, and started putting pressure on it. About three to five minutes pass before the wounds finally close.

        "Mia and I will try to clean her up and keep her at the right temperature. Thomas, you get a doctor, preferably one that likes red heads and blondes, Bella, try to keep Maxon stable, Jack, go get food." Rosie gave everyone a job. 

         Right before Thomas left, Jack spoke. "There is someone in the village who can help." He said as he wrote an address and handed it to Thomas. "Just tell him I sent you."

         He nodded and left. Jack grabbed his arrows and went hunting. 

        Mia and Rosie cleaned Skylar the best they could and put a cold, damp cloth on her forehead. Bella took a cold cloth and dabbed it over Maxon's body.

        About five minutes passed. Skylar's body suddenly started jolting. 

       "She's going in shock!" Rosie exclaimed as she tried to keep Skylar down. "Mia! Help me!" Skylar was very strong, so two people were needed to hold her down. Even then, it was difficult for them to do so.

        Pretty soon, Thomas came back with the 'doctor'. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and hardly any muscle. He was pretty scrawny looking actually.

       "Alex?" Bella was surprised to see him.

       "He doesn't look like a doctor Thomas!" Rosie shouted. He really didn't. He was a teenage boy, 17 years old.

       "Well, I'm not but..." Alex started to speak until Bella cut him off.

        "This is Alex. He has no powers, but he is a literal genius.He knows just about everything about just about everything, especially doctoring. Now move out of the way and let him help!" Bella ordered. Mia and Rosie backed away from Skylar's unconscious body as Alex walked over.

        "Okay..." Alex started. "The one who brought me here mentioned this girl had lightning powers, correct?" 

         Everyone nodded. They all thought it was strange that Thomas would add the bit of information, but that didn't really matter now.

        "Alright." He turned to Bella. "Does your mind ability allow you to control people?"

        "No, but Mia's does." She pointed to the young, blonde girl sitting on a log. By now, Jack was back from hunting.

        "Good." Alex said and turned to her. "I need you to make her shock herself." 

       "What!?" Mia exclaimed. "Can't I make her heal herself instead?"

         Skylar stopped jumping.

       "No. From my studies, the healing power is different and has to be applied differently." He looked over at the motionless Skylar. "Just do it! Her heart has stopped!" He yelled as he felt her pulse. "Shock her at a medium wattage." He figured this girl wouldn't no how to concentrate a specific electrical charge so he just made the generalization.
