Mia walked over to Jack and put her hands on his temples.
"Wait!" Maxon stopped her. He walks over to Jack and holds him down. "You can continue now."
She closes her eyes. Maxon could feel him waking up.
When Mia was done, Skylar quickly pulled her up and stood in front of her and Thomas. Rosie stood by her just in case.
"What happened?" Jack mumbled as he put his hands on his head. He looked around and noticed someone standing behind the two girls. "Who's that?" He asked harshly. "Behind you."
Skylar knew it was a hopeless cause now, and moved out of the way, revealing the two siblings.
"Your the one who shot Bella!" He snapped and got up.
Skylar quickly stands in front of Mia while Maxon grabs Jack.
"Why is she here? She almost killed her!" He tried to free himself from Maxon's grip, but he was still to weak.
"Calm down, Jack." Bella said.
He turned and saw her. "Bella? You're okay!"
"She came here to help us." Bella explained to him.
Jack looked at Thomas and glared. He didn't recognize him.
"Jack, calm down and let them explain." Bella said, trying to calm him down.
He grunts but finally agrees. He sits down next to Bella and Rosie.
"This is Mia." Skylar explained. "She got scared when Bella came by because it wasn't Thomas. When Jack broke her fingers, Thomas here.." She gestured towards Thomas. "...went invisible and went to defend his sister."
"I'm so sorry for shooting you, and for taking over your minds." She said sadly.
Bella got up and put her hand on her shoulder. "I know you were just scared, but make sure the person is trying to hurt you before you shoot." She told her. Mia smiled and hugged her.
"You guys are welcome to stay the night." Maxon invited .
"We can't trust them. They could have killed us!" Jack snapped harshly.
"They could have, but the didn't!" Maxon glared at him.
"Maxon, Thomas, can you go get food for dinner?" Skylar asked. "Rosie, can you help me make more beds?"
They all agreed to help while Jack and Bella got more rest. At first, Jack protested, but after a while of convincing, he finally went to sleep.
The beds were made and they ate dinner. Everyone went to bed while Skylar kept watch.
She heard a branch break. As she carefully and quietly went to see what it was, her mouth was suddenly covered and she was dragged away.
