All Alone

Chapter 37

              "I'm glad you like it!" Mia exclaimed as she and the girls and Thomas walked in.

               "Ya, Mia did most of the work on that." Thomas said.

               "I thought she did amazing. I couldn't have done half as good of a job as she did." Bella said.

             "Hey, someone had to keep Jack from adding booby traps all over the wedding area." Rosie said smiling.

              "He really has no idea about running a wedding, does he?" Skylar asked laughing. 

            "Nope." Everyone said.

            "He already told me he wasn't wearing a tux." Maxon chuckled.

           "I'll get him into one.." Bella smirked.

           "Anyway..." Skylar paused. "I need a dress."

           All the girls gasped. 

           "You have come to the right place!" Rosie said as she grabbed Skylar's arm and ran off with the other girls.

              Maxon chuckled.

           "You excited?" Thomas asked.

           "Ya." Maxon replied. "I'm marrying the most beautiful and amazing girl tomorrow."

           Thomas smiled. "You two are perfect for each other."

         They heard footsteps and both turned. Jack walked in. He looked irritated. No surprise there.

         "You can't tell me you don't want defenses and weapons at the wedding." He said harshly.

        "Jack." Maxon said. "No one is going to attack us. It's a wedding. You are supposed to relax and have fun at a wedding."

       "I don't relax." Jack mumbled coldly.

      "Well now you do. King's orders." Maxon said jokingly.

       Jack of course, didn't see the joke in his statement. "I don't take orders from anyone." He snapped. "King or not." He walked out.

       Thomas and Maxon just stood there laughing.
